Iraqi Intelligence: USA Is Supplying ISIS with Weapons, Food
Shocking Claim by Iraqi forces who say airdrops are NOT a mistake
In a report that has gone virtually unnoticed and been ignored by
the mainstream media, Iraqi intelligence sources have claimed that the
US is actively and intentionally supplying ISIS terrorists with
resources including sophisticated weapons.
Asia News Agency and Fars News Agency report that Iraqi forces have uncovered information that has lead them to believe the US is aidropping weapons and foodstuffs under the guise of air raids on militants’ positions.
The extremist militants are said to be regularly collecting the cargo drops, and the resources are not falling into their hands by error.
“The Iraqi intelligence sources reiterated that the US military planes have airdropped several aid cargoes for ISIL terrorists to help them resist the siege laid by the Iraqi army, security and popular forces,” the report states.
The sources claim that the terrorists have received state-of-the-art weaponry, made in the US, including expensive armour piercing bullets that cost $2,000 a piece.
“What is important is that the US sends these weapons to only those that cooperate with the Pentagon and this indicates that the US plays a role in arming the ISIL,” an Iraqi security source told FNA.
“These bullets pierce armored vehicles and kill the people inside the vehicle” the Iraqi source claims, adding that “These weapons have killed many Iraqi military and volunteer forces so far.”
Previous reports have indicated that some of the militants the US purports to be fighting in Iraq and Syria are readily obtaining US made weapons.
In September, a study, conducted by the London-based small-arms research organization Conflict Armament Research, documented how Kurdish forces captured arms from militants including M16 assault rifles that were marked “property of the US government’.
The study noted that the arms, funneled through Saudi channels, were originally given to the so-called moderate anti-government militants in Syria, including the Free Syrian Army, which is documented to be infiltrated at the highest levels by ISIS. The West has pumped weapons into the region either directly or through Saudi, Qatari, Jordanian, or Turkish proxies since at least 2011.
Video footage emerged in October of ISIS terrorists parading American-made weapons and munitions “mistakenly” airdropped into territory they currently control.
ISIS fighters have previously been filmed firing American made Howitzer cannons, rockets, artillery pieces and even Stinger missiles. as well as driving US tanks, MRAPs, Humvees, and even a helicopter.
The group has also benefited from staggering amounts of US weaponry left behind by fleeing Iraqi forces. According to the Los Angeles Times, ISIS has captured “the weapons stores of the 2nd and 3rd [Iraqi army] divisions in Mosul, the 4th division in Salah al Din, the 12th division in the areas near Kirkuk, and another division in Diyala”.
Senator Rand Paul has repeatedly called Obama out on the shocking situation, noting that “They never would have grown this strong without … their allies getting weapons from both us, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, so really, we have done a disservice and created chaos that has allowed the jihadists to grow stronger.”
It is common knowledge that the US has for three years now funded and supported rebels in Libya and Syria. Indeed, the same extremists who overthrew Gaddafi in Libya were reportedly airlifted into Syria by NATO forces. The same extremists who Killed US and NATO Troops in Iraq were supported all the way by the US and its allies in Libya and Syria.
ISIS terrorists had already infiltrated those groups and the US government knew it from their own intelligence and from independent intelligence. Like a cancer, the group grew and eventually consumed the so called rebels fighting against the Syrian government.
Meanwhile, president Obama doesn’t seem alarmed. At an Australian press conference this week, he told reporters that he would immediately order US boots on the ground in Syria should sophisticated weapons, such as those with a nuclear capability, be discovered to be in the possession of ISIS.
How comforting.
