A videographer Arduino Tronic has highlighted how scientist Yoshihiro Kawaoka has engineered a flu strain that is immune to human antibodies and completely resistant to vaccines. It is a recreation of the H1N1 flu virus with added potency. The strain has killed half a million people.
This leaves me completely baffled, why on earth would you create a virus that cannot be treated, it seems completely counter intuitive… this is something that has no use whatsoever.
This is not the first time Kazaoka has defied logic, the controversial scientist previously recreated the Spanish Flu of 1918. Again it really does beg the question why, well the video below asks this question and more. Will this be the end of us? Not war or pollution, a man made virus gone awry. It seems fitting that something so simple will undo our incredibly arrogant ‘civilisation’. What more could we hope for that to be wiped out by something we did to our selves.
