Former U.S. President Suggests The Idea Of Alien Invasion Bringing World Unity

“An alien invasion of planet earth would not be surprising, and could unite this increasingly divided world of ours, because the differences among people of Earth would seem small in comparison. An invasion by extraterrestrials might be the best way to unite the fractious countries of our war-wracked planet, if we feel threatened by a space invader. That’s the whole theory of ‘Independence Day’ (the hit 1996 sci-fi disaster movie)…everybody gets together and makes nice”. These recent comments came from no less than a former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

Back in 1987, President Ronald Reagan reportedly made a similar statement, telling the United Nations General Assembly: “I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside of this world.”

Michael Snyder of the truthwins.com questions if Clinton knows something that the rest of us don’t, and why he is sharing this now. Clinton’s comments were made against a backdrop of “an endless barrage of books, movies, television shows and video games that portray human contact with extraterrestrials”, over recent years, suggesting the possibility that mankind may be getting set up for a great deception of historic proportions.

It would seem that there is a concerted effort being made behind the scenes, to prepare the global populace to not only imagine the possibility of an alien invasion, but to actually expect one. Vatican astronomers have recently been discussing the possibility of contact with “brother extraterrestrial“, and one has even suggested that aliens could “be the Saviors of humankind”.

The truthwins.com  reports that according to a survey conducted by National Geographic, 77 percent of all Americans already believe “there are signs that aliens have visited Earth” (apparently based on the increase in UFO sightings over recent years, as well as the heightened interest in aliens and supernatural beings and events in general). In comparison, only 68 percent of all Americans believe that Jesus is God or the Son of God.

So what exactly should be made of these comments and views? It may be true that humans have a tendency to unite against common threats, but why should there be so much focus on aliens when it seems that humans have more to be afraid of from each other, rather than extraterrestrial beings whose presence and threat is still yet to be felt comparatively on earth, to the knowledge and understanding of most?

Could it be that Satan and his demons, well aware about the Biblical prophecies of the last days, want to create an explanation for end-time prophecies yet to occur, such as the rapture of the church?

I Thessalonians 4:16-17 says:  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

When this event happens, what better explanation could be offered to an unbelieving world than that an ‘alien abduction’ has taken place? And that the ‘undesirable elements’ of this world have been removed – perhaps to pave the way for a ‘brave new world’ or a ‘new world order’?

The Bible also teaches that in the last days, unclean spirits will be released to do battle against God and His chosen people, Israel:

Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty… And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-14, 16)

When Satan through the AntiChrist, brings out the armies of the world to fight against Jesus Christ, how likely is it that he will say: “Let’s go out and fight against Jesus Christ, Who is God?” Not a chance. More likely he will tell the world: “Your planet is in danger of attack from hostile aliens, and you had better come out and fight to save yourselves and your planet”. Such was the theme of the movie ‘Independence Day’ that Bill Clinton recently made reference to.

The following explanation by mt.net, hits the nail on the head regarding the alien consciousness trends that we are currently seeing: “Currently, the group of beings referred to as "aliens" are portraying themselves as disparate elements of the paranormal. Aliens, walk-ins, ascended masters, the hidden hierarchy, spirit guides, channeled beings and natural forces like Gaia, are all imparting a similar message of impending disaster and a need for all of humanity to unite.

The "aliens" claim to be preparing the earth for a massive evolutionary shift of consciousness, a paradigm shift, while also continuing the education that they maintain is crucial if the human race is to be spared destruction. The nonhuman intelligences are feigning good intentions by warning humans of their potential fate, and the offer to assist humans is all but altruistic in that it is designed to unite mankind under a global authority, with their candidate on the Throne of the World…Non-human intelligences pretending to be "aliens" claim to be the ancient progenitors of the human race. This is the End Time Delusion, which would deceive even the elect, and will lead to the setting up of antichrist on the world throne”.

Is this the real context, or backdrop against which Presidents have been highlighting the value of unity in the face of hostile extraterrestrial or alien threats? Not if you have a Biblical perspective on prophetic end-time events. The Bible clearly warns of an end-time deception that will target all those who refuse the love of the truth in these last days:

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,  and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2nd Thessalonians 2: 7-12).

People have always wondered what would happen if “aliens” did invade the planet. Would they come in peace, or to wage war? It certainly depends on which “aliens” you are thinking about. Satan and his demons only come to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) which they have been doing pretty effectively over the past 6,000 years at least, here on earth. However, Jesus Christ, Who is God, will come with His heavenly armies to save Israel, defeat Satan and his cohorts and usher in a peaceful millennial age where Satan will be bound for a thousand years(Revelation 20:1-3).

Sadly, those deceived into believing that they are repelling “hostile aliens” in that event, will pay for their sinful and presumptuous attitudes by missing out on an eternity with their Creator, who loved them enough to shed His own blood to save them from their sins so that they could spend eternity with Him (John 3:16, Revelation 1:5,6).
