Maritime ‘Maginot Line’: From Indian Ocean To Pacific

It seems some generals in the People's Liberation Army want China to be in control of the West Philippine Sea, the Spratlys, the Paracels, Panatag, and the islands and shoals and areas claimed by the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Taiwan and China. Perry Diaz posted this also.

In the meantime, click on the link below. I got this from Manang YO's post in Facebook.

Princess Yolanda Ortega Stern, where are you? Kumusta na ang "People of the Currents"?

Itong eleksyon sa America, my personal thought is "Que sera sera, what will be, will be." I will vote for Elegant Chit Applegate as against any Democrat who may run against her, like the Chinese-American politicians who seem to control the politics in San Francisco. And I will even campaign for her.

Perhaps, I will vote for Rudy Asercion also, even if we are not on the same political orientation. As President of APAPA.

I think for the Filipino-American electorate, our ethnicity should be important, aside from the broad framework of our ideological beliefs that should integrate our views on American and world society, and the role of the political system. In America, and in our Homeland, what is the role of Government? In theory, it is to make it possible for a better life for our people. And of course, in theory "The Government" reflects the will of the majority of those who vote intelligently in a political process that is not incredible beyond belief, like what is happening in the Homeland, and could happen again next year.

Our good friend, FASAE President, Jose Aliling IV, iyong pinagtiyagan namin na puntahan during his big event, his installation as President, is so busy. Well, he is very loyal to his friends. Minsan, naawa ako sa kanyang colleague and fellow believer. In his desire to serve the people of America at this time in America's history, he seems bewildered. And I continue to reflect on what he went through because of this "Primary" process of selecting leaders. Kung sa Pilipinas iyan, sigue, kahit alam na kahit utot wala silang iuutot, kandidato pa rin. This is what Governor Villarama wanted to do, institute the Primary System in the Homeland.

Perhaps, someday he might still do this, when it is his time. As the Ecclesiastes intones: "There is a time for every season under the heavens..." And I want to add, a time to be Governor of Massachusetts. And a time to be President.

I rarely went to the UP Chapel in Diliman. And I practically spent the best, the most memorable, and sad part of my life and that of my family, there. And here in America, I just go to Catholic Churches kung may patay at may piesta. But even then, perhaps, there is some truth in this: "Que sera, sera. What will be will be." And Destiny.
