Years
ago, WikiLeaks smashed the mainstream media paradigm by leaking crucial
videos and documents which were evidence of war crimes on the part of
the US government and their allies. In recent years WikiLeaks has been
more or less silent and pushed into obscurity by various governments
that have sought to take them down.
However, it seems that WikiLeaks
may now be back with a vengeance, with news this week that the
whistleblower organization has come into possession of hacked files that
were retrieved from CIA chief John Brennan’s email account.
WikiLeaks said that the information will be released “soon.”

The hack was reportedly carried
out by an American teenager who worked with others to tap into Brennan’s
email account. The hackers have yet to be identified, and have been
taunting the government for the past week about the emails.
Well, John Brennan deleted his email because we kept jacking it LOL— cracka (@phphax) 8:56 PM - 16 Oct 2015
When Brennan asked the hackers what they wanted, they replied by saying “2 trillion dollars hahhaa, just joking.”
According to Wired, Brennan replied, “How much do you really want?”
They told Brennan “We just want Palestine to be free and for you to stop killing innocent people.”
