Tell Obama to Keep his hands off the Internet

Dear Fellow Activist,

Right now, the Obama Administration is on the verge of another massive power grab that, if approved, will give the federal government enormous power to regulate your Internet.

And we need your help to stop it now!

Specifically, Obama's Federal Communications Commission (FCC), bowing to the demands of liberal special interests, has proposed new rules to reclassify broadband Internet as a monopoly-era plain old telephone service of decades past (aka common carrier telecommunications service) under Title II of the Communications Act.

Simply put, they actually want to regulate the Internet like a public utility!

Imagine the Internet being hampered with so much regulation that it is run much the same way as your local water, gas or electric company. Title II regulation, in many ways, would be even worse...

...It would give the federal government virtually total economic control over the Internet!

This egregious government overreach into the broadband economy will almost certainly kill job creation, harm consumers and bring a significant amount of investment and innovation to a screeching halt.

Take Action to immediately contact your Members of Congress and the FCC. Tell them to stop the government takeover of the Internet now!

Over the past two decades, the Internet has flourished and revolutionized our lives precisely because it has remained free of government overregulation. That's what makes this radical regulatory scheme being pursued by Obama's FCC so egregious.

It is a "solution" in search of a problem!

Frankly, we have seen what happened to our health care system with ObamaCare. The American people simply cannot afford another government power grab that kills jobs, innovation and investment in such an important sector of the U.S. economy.

That is why the Center for Individual Freedom is activating StopNetRegulation.org, a project dedicated to ensuring the Internet remains free from heavy-handed government regulations and stopping this latest power grab by the Obama administration.

The federal government micromanaging the Internet is a dangerous scheme, one that Congress must halt and the FCC must abandon.

We can succeed in this important fight, but we need your help!

Take Action Today: Please use this link to tell your Senators, Representative and the FCC to stop the government takeover of the Internet!

Yours in Freedom,

Jeff Mazzella
