“The new White House Executive
Order of March 16, 2012, the socalled
‘National Defense Resources
Preparedness Order,’ is a clear blueprint
for total government control over the civilian
economy, under the guise of ‘national defense,’”
warns Maj. Gen. Albert “Bert” N. Stubblebine III,
former commanding general of the U.S. Army Intelligence
and Security Command.
The White House has set in motion the regulatory
basis for an American version of Lenin’s “War
Communism” whereby the entire civilian economy
is militarized, says distinguished doctor of law
Ralph Fucetola.
Fucetola analyzed this executive order (EO),
which gives the president the power to take over
themeans of production. It annuls private contracts
and commandeers all the resources of all the people.
This EO, if allowed to stand, sets the legal basis
for total government control over: “food, energy,
health, civil transportation, water and all other materials,
services and facilities.”
Dissecting the lengthy diktat, the president and
his secretaries have the authority to seize all transportation,
energy and infrastructure inside the
United States. The federal government would not
only control all necessities—but the lives of 99 percent
of Americans. The EO claims the president
even has the power to forcibly draft American citizens
into themilitary. The EOalso contains language
for harnessing American citizens to fulfill “labor requirements”
for “the purposes of national defense.”
Everything means everything, including:
“Food resources” means all commodities and
products, (simple,mixed, or compound), or complements
to such commodities or products, that
are capable of being ingested by either human beings
or animals, irrespective of other uses to
which such commodities or productsmay be put,
at all stages of processing fromthe raw commodity
to the products thereof in vendible form for
human or animal consumption. “Food resources”
also means potable water packaged in commercially
marketable containers, all starches, sugars,
vegetable and animal ormarine fats and oils, seed,
cotton, hemp and flax fiber. . . . “Water resources”
means all usable water, from all sources.
The EO does not require “national emergencies”
or times of war. This EO can be invoked for confiscation
and control by presidential whim “when
needed tomeet defense requirements during peacetime,
graduated mobilization and national emergency.”
There is no evidence that any of the GOP candidates—
other than Ron Paul—has the guts to stand
against this treason.

Ralph Forbes’s front-page article
this week is a perfect example of why
AMERICAN FREE PRESS (AFP) is so important

On Friday afternoon,March 16, the
White House quietly announced a new
executive order (EO) called the National
Defense Resources Preparedness
Order. Seasoned news watchers
know Fridays are usually when bureaucrats
and politicians try to sneak
out bad news, because they know
that’s a time most reporters are winding
down for the weekend. So the timing
alone made us take notice.
What’s significant about this EO is
that it further lays the groundwork for
amilitary takeover of the country’s private
industries and personal stockpiles

necessities. A search of dozens of
mainstream media outlets showed
that only a few bothered to report on
this extremely important event.

This latest EO is yet another baldfaced
power grab. Thus we’re obliged
to bring it to the attention of as many

Republicans and Democrats in Congress
came together to pass legislation authorizing
the U.S. government to continue punitive
tariffs on about two dozen Chinese products
after American authorities discovered the
government of China had been unfairly subsidizing
the companies thatmake them. The
tariffs have been in place for a number of
years now and have been credited with saving
about 80,000 U.S. jobs as well as bringing
in revenue for Washington. The Chinese had
taken the U.S. to court over the duties and
had won on appeal. Congress, however, sidestepped
the courts, passing a new measure
that overruled the judges.

Occupy Wall Street
Leaders of the “Occupy Wall Street”
movement say they are gearing up for spring
offensives to take place in 30 cities across
the U.S., reports The Wall Street Journal.
The news follows earlier reports that as
many as 73 people were arrested on March
17 after protesters tried to retake Zuccotti
Park, the site just off Wall Street that
spawned the national movement.

New Sheriff in Town?
White nationalist Shaun Winkler, 33,
wants to be the next sheriff of Bonner
County in northern Idaho.Winkler, who says
he is running because he’s fed up with federal
tyranny, is reported to have been amember
of several pro-white organizations such
as the Aryan Nations and Church of Jesus
Christ-Christian. On May 5, Winkler will go
up against the incumbent as well as another
police officer in the Republican primary.

New Trend
According to a new survey by the Pew Research
Center, three out of 10 young adults in
America live with their parents, the highest
proportion since World War II.
Federal Case
Plagued by bad publicity of late, the privately
owned and controlled Federal Reserve
recently sent its topman out on a tour of the
country to promote the U.S. central bank.
Fed chair Ben Bernanke will be delivering a
series of speeches at major universities in
order to “educate” tomorrow’s decisionmakers
and to strike back at critics who say the
Fed creates money out of thin air for the
profit of bankers.
John Demjanjuk Dies
Accused of atrocities he never committed,
naturalized American auto worker John
Demjanjuk died onMarch 17. His death gave
the controlled media the opportunity to rehash
the accusations that Demjanjuk was
complicit in the murders of 27,900 Jews at
the German work camp at Sobibor—an impossibility
because no Jews were gassed or
otherwise murdered at Sobibor—a categorical
fact, thanks to the research of scholars,
like Germar Rudolf, Carlo Mattogno, Dr.
Arthur Butz and other authorities who have
debunked the “Nazi genocide” fairy tale.

Nyet to Daylight Savings Time
In the fall of 2011, Russian President
Dimitri Medvedev announced that Russia
would no longer be following the annoying
daylight savings time, reports Russian news
agency RT. “Every fall and every spring we
are swearing at this system,” saidMedvedev.
“Our biorhythms are damaged.” RT cited a
Russian Academy of Medical Sciences report
that showed “when the clocks are
changed, the number of heart attacks increases
by 1.5 times, the rate of suicides
grows by 66 percent.”

Uproar Over Professor’s Article
The Jewish community in Italy is in an
uproar after the Italian daily Rinascita, a
leftist national newspaper financed by Italy’s
government, published an article by French
scholar Robert Faurisson that calls the Holocaust
“the greatest lie ofmodern times.” Faurisson
wrote: “The general belief on the part
of the Western world is that ‘the Holocaust’
has long been the sword and shield of Zionism.
. . . But today revisionism is putting this
belief in peril.” For his efforts to honestly examine
and report scientifically on the Holocaust,
Faurisson has been jailed and fined in
France as well as being the target of several
brutal beatings by Jewish thugs. Readers

Congress Supports Tariffs on China
Bigger Than Watergate?
Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, “America’s
toughest sheriff,” has made national
headlines lately as he held a
press conference to announce that he
had probable cause to believe Barack
Obama’s alleged birth certificate is a
forgery. After sixmonths and over 2,200
hours of scrutiny, his “cold case posse”
research teamannounced that the document
was a computer-generated
hoax. The mainstream media has not
given the birth certificate fraud issue
the attention Arpaio feels it deserves,
instead attacking himas allegedly abusive
to illegal alien inmates and portraying
him as a crackpot. Arpaio said
the media conspiracy against birth
truthers “is bigger than Watergate.”

Groundwork is currently being laid to justify
the assassination of political dissidents in
the United States, evidenced by FBI Director
Robert Mueller’s recent congressional
testimony where he implied that the FBI is now authorized
to murder American citizens in the United
States without trial if the president or another official
inD.C. believes they pose a threat to national security.
At a speech at Northwestern University recently,
Attorney General Eric Holder told the audience that
the president of the United States has powers “sufficient
under the Constitution for the United States to
use lethal force against a U.S. citizen.” In other
words, in Holder’s interpretation of the Constitution,
the president can murder Americans with impunity.
Following up that speech, Mueller told a shocked
congressional panel on March 7 that he wasn’t sure
why Holder hadmade those remarks, but that his understanding
of them was that Holder believed the
FBI was authorized to assassinate American political
dissidents without judicial process.
A Justice Department spokesman then elaborated,
stating that an American can be assassinated if
the following conditions are met: A person poses a
“threat” to national security, broadly defined to include
most forms of dissent against the social-democratic
system; capture is not feasible, in the
opinion of the killers; and the killing adheres to the
“laws ofwar.” Of course, the laws ofwar prohibit the
murder of innocent civilians who have not taken up
arms against a government and have merely spoken
against that government.
These claims of the power to murder Americans
followthe recently passed legislation authorizing federal
agents to kidnap and imprison Americans without
due process of law under the so-called National
Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
As Russian news outlet “RT” reported, after the
Obama administration refused to comment on the
extent it would use these new powers to murder political
dissidents, under the NDAA “Americans know
for certain that government allegations can get them
in jailwithout a trial. Obama just needs to confirmor
disconfirmthat he can shoot themdown in their own
homes as well.”
As AFP has reported repeatedy, the “terrorist
threat” the government faces is largely imaginary.
The U.S. government has fabricated these incidents
in order to provide a distraction and cover the government’s
failure inmost areas of domestic policy. A
recent study by the University of California at
Berkley showed that all but three of the so-called
“terror plots” that had occurred in the United States
since 2001 were manufactured by the FBI.

Bill Mohr, chairman of the U.S. Taxpayers
Party of Michigan (USTPM.org), the affiliate
of the national Constitution Party, is
way beyond sick of the prevalent arrangement,
wherein the two dominantmegaparties define
and clutter the political landscape. The “Republicrats,”
as the duopoly of Democrats and Republicans
is often called, do this by staging a blaring circus, during
which taxpayers pay the costs of constant primary
elections across the U.S. to choose Democratic
and Republican nominees—rather than leaving it up
to the parties themselves to nominate their candidates
at party conventions.
Mohr imagines aworldwhere all the political parties
choose their own nominees, where everyone is
allowed into nationally televised debates, andwhere
voters simplymake their choices in the general elections.
He recently spoke with AFP as we begin looking
at alternative parties and candidates for 2012.
Mohr announced that the USTPM will host a debate
among the six Constitution Party presidential
hopefuls in East Lansing, Mich., at 10 a.m. on March
31, at Tony M’s Restaurant & Lounge. The presidential
candidates: RobbyWells of South Carolina, Virgil
Goode of Virginia, J.L. Mealer of Arizona, Michael
Kennedy ofMaryland, Dr. Laurie Roth ofWashington
and Susan Ducey of Kansas.
Mohr recalled how in 2008, and in a prior election
cycle—even though he was a state representative
candidate—a Grand Rapids school district, a taxpayer-
financed entity, froze out everyone but the
Democratic and Republican candidates.
“Neither the Libertarian candidate nor I was invited
to that forum,” he said. “It was a televised
forum [with a] rather large audience. We are ballot
certified. Why do we allow public funds to be spent
to promote certain candidates? It’s wrong—something
that should not be happening.
Any public funds spent promoting
candidates and making the public
aware of candidates’ positions and
so forth should include all the candidates
appearing on the ballot.”
He added: “The Republicans and
Democrats . . . are working overtime
brainwashing the American
public that we operate with a twoparty
system. If you look on the ballot in Michigan,
for example, this coming election [November], I believe
there are seven parties on the ballot. And there
will be a handful of independent candidates aswell.”
Mohr said, “The federal government hands the
presidential candidates money for their campaigns,
which comes out of the taxpayers’ pockets.” Constitution
Party founder Howard Phillips “refused to
take that money from the federal government. . . .
[W]e’re a party built on character, [and] Howardwas
correct in doing that.”
Mohr acknowledged that, if public funding is to be
used at all, it should benefit all the candidates equally
across the board. If not, he said, public funding
should be totally eliminated, since the current racket
steers heavy funding toward dominant-party candidates
who take huge campaign contributions from
super PACs and entities like Goldman Sachs in one
hand and tax dollars with the other hand.
“If the people begin to understand that there are
other viable parties available for them to consider,
the Republicans and Democrats will take quite a
blow,” saidMohr.Mohr’s party is decidedly anti-New
World Order and anti-Federal Reserve, compared to
the largely pro-NWO, pro-Fed underpinnings of the
“two” parties that often function like one.
Mohr noted that while “the Green Party is more
true to the liberal mindset than the Democrats are,
people think that the Republican Party is the conservative
party, and nothing could
be further from the truth.”
In a computer presentation, “Issues
Party by Party,” Mohr compares
the platforms of the Democrats
and Republicanswith the Constitution
Party’s platform. “When I
get to the end of the presentation it
becomes very clear to the listener
that the GOP is no different than the

ACCORDING to its official website,* the
Constitution Party is the fastest growing political
party in the United States over the last

Most of U.S. troops may have left Iraq, but
the occupation continues inways that are
far less transparent to the American people.
An army of bureaucrats and mercenaries
still occupies theMiddle East country, despite
claims fromtheWhite House that the Iraqis are free.
Late last year, Obama greeted returning veterans
at Fort Bragg, N.C. and announced that the eight-year
war had come to an end. “Over the
last few months, the final work of
leaving Iraq has been done,” Obama
proclaimed. “Dozens of bases with
American names that housed thousands
of American troops have
been closed down or turned over to
the Iraqis.”
Though that may have been
enough to satisfy some, Obama’s
formal announcement of troop drawdowns hardly
qualifies as a complete withdrawal. In its largest
diplomaticmission since the end ofWorldWar II, the
State Department now commands more than 16,000
civilian employees at four major diplomatic centers
and seven other facilities throughout the country, as
well as 5,500 armed mercenaries under contract by
private security firms.
Of course, these are just official numbers that the
government has been kind enough to divulge. The
true proliferation of “private contractors”—a euphemismformercenaries—
working in the region is anyone’s
guess.
In its latest budget request, the Pentagon asked
for $2.9 billion for what it calls “Post Operation New
Dawn (OND)/Iraq Activities.” According to a Feb. 13
report by Wired, “The Pentagon’s briefing materials
provide little explanation for the expense. ‘Finalizing
transition’ is the ostensible mission the Pentagon
wants funded. Its remaining office in Baghdad, the
Office of Security Cooperation-Iraq, will get cash to
‘continue security assistance and security cooperation’
with the Iraqi military “and
amounts for the reset of equipment
redeploying from Iraq and the theater
of operations.”
During an interviewwith Russian
news outlet RT,Michael O’Brien, author
of the book America’s Failure
in Iraq, was asked how he anticipated
these funds would be used.
“To pay for security contractors,
which are nothing more than mercenaries,” he said.
“These are civilians employed by defense contractors
in our country. This is just an expansion of defense
contractors selling weapons systems, ships,
planes, rifles and bullets. Now we’ve expanded that
to includewarmbodies. A lot of it is probably covert.
There have to be continuedmilitary operations going
on over there that we are not being told about—military
operations being conducted by Americans in
civilian clothes.”
Since the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, asmany
as 1,455,590 Iraqis have been slaughtered, alongwith
4,801 American troops, according to the websites
Justforeignpolicy.org and iCasualties.org respectively.
Excluded from this death toll are hundreds of
Americans who have lost their lives under the employ
of civilian contractors, a significant number that
goes largely underreported. Last year alone, private
contractor deaths in Iraq were almost on par with
those of American troops—41 comparedwith 54, according
to the U.S. Department of Labor.
In Afghanistan in 2011, contractor deaths exceeded
those of American troops.
According to a Feb. 12, 2012 article for The New
York Times, entitled “War Risk Shifts to Contractors,”
Rob Nordland writes, “Last year, at least 430
employees of American contractors were reported
killed in Afghanistan: 386 working for the Defense
Department, 43 for the United States Agency for International
Development and one for the State Department,
according to data provided by the
American Embassy in Kabul and publicly available
in part fromthe United States Department of Labor.”

Clark, whose husband Merlin—a former Navy
explosives ordnance disposal expert—was injured in
2003whileworking for an American contractor.Mrs.
Clark now runs the American Contractors in Iraq
and Afghanistan website, where she tracks contractor
deaths and injuries, aswell as reports on corrupt
private contracting firms and insurance carriers
that have failed to live up to their obligations.
For the past seven years, the Clarks have been
fighting for hundreds of thousands of dollars in disability
payments and medical compensation.

Contractors & Mercenaries Are Easily Denied
The administrative law trials of civilian
war contractors with psychiatric injuries
are reminiscent of the Salem
witch trials 400 years ago. Over half of
the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
cases or mental injury cases arising from the
Iraq and Afghanistan wars have been denied or
inadequately awarded by the Labor Department’s
Administrative Law Judges in the 38 decisions
issued since 2006. No less that 10 of the
17 denied cases involved insurance psychiatrist
Dr John Dorland Griffith, who doubts if PTSD
is a valid condition. Two judges are responsible
for almost 60 percent of all denied claims. Even
more astonishing is the impossibly low number
of PTSD claims filed. At last count, there were
303 PTSD claims filed by civilian contractors
who outnumber troops in the war zones, and
have outnumbered them for the last five years.
There have been about 500,000 cases of PTSD
reported among U.S.soldiers. The chilling effect
of these vicious and often ludicrous court proceedings
on claimants and their lawyers is undeniable.
The end result: Thousands of people suffering
from a potentially fatal mental disorder receive
no treatment or compensation for PTSD.
This is just one reason the U.S. military prefers
contractors: Their deaths and war-related illnesses
are easily swept under the rug.

against TransCanada’s Keystone XL Pipeline
—a giant pipeline carrying dirty oil from
Canada to Texas—are concerned that H.R. 1433, the
federal “Private Property Rights Protection Act of
2012,” could be construed to exempt pipelines, including
the Keystone Pipeline.
The proposed pipeline has been described as possibly
unnecessary, and even some oil
companies say it is overpriced. Any
state it transverses could throw a
huge monkey wrench into the dangerous
plan. What right does this
corporation have to put thousands
of farms, families and businesses in
danger? (AFP interviewed Mrs.
Crawford in issue #13, on page 6.)
A perusal of the bill’s Section 9 reveals
some vague language that could constitute a
loophole for oil pipeline projects. A subsection says
. . . “for use as an aqueduct, flood control facility,
pipeline, or similar use” as being among the usages
for which eminent domain legal land takings still
could be allowed.
Also, Sect. 9 (F) notes that “taking private property
for use by a public utility, including a utility providing
electric, natural gas, telecommunications,
water andwastewater services, either directly to the
public or indirectly through provision of such services
at the wholesale level for resale to the public” is
another potential loophole. Theword “including” ordinarily
implies “not limited to.”
The bill, first introduced back on April 7, 2011
under the sponsorship of Rep. James Sensenbrenner
(R-Wis.), passed the House of Representatives on
Feb. 28 and is now before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

(R-N.C.), to liberal Democrats such
as California’s Rep. MaxineWaters.

“This leaves landowners like . . . Crawford [and
others] in Oklahoma and Texas in the lurch, subject
to the clutches of TransCanada’s ongoing eminent
domain [‘legal’ land grabs for private gain] proceedings,”
Tillman said. “But let’s remember that it was
the bravery [of those at] the Alamo that inspired victory
at the Battle of San Jacinto [in 1836 towin Texas
independence]. TransCanada’s bullying has led to a
groundswell of support for Julia and landowners like
her, and I think TransCanada should be worried.”
TransCanada’s Keystone XL is a pipeline through
which will be pumped a softened oil product mined
in Canada, en route to Texas refineries. But critics
note that the oily sludge sent through the line will
create three times the pressure of normal crude oil—
creating above-normal risk of ruptures—and they
also note that much of the final product will be exported
and will not refined for use in the U.S.
The bill has some seemingly favorable provisions,
as it seeks to prevent states and their political subdivisions
that receive “federal economic development
funds” fromabusing eminent domain procedures for
enriching or advancing commercial enterprises. And
while the bill “renders a state or political subdivision
ineligible for any federal economic development
funds for a period of two fiscal years following a final
judgment by a court” that they have violated eminent
domain restrictions, the bill is still pockmarked with
exclusions and exemptions.

The International Association of Machinists
and Aerospace Workers (Local 126,
Chicago) is the third organization to pass a
resolution in support of the National Employment
Emergency Defense Act (H.R. 2990), the
bill sponsored by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) to
return the creation ofmoney, interest-free, to the U.S.
Treasury under Congressional authority. Even
though Kucinich lost his seat via the recent primary
in Ohio, the head of the monetary-reform organization
that helped inspire the bill said this will not kill
the bill for the remainder of the 112th Congress.
“The legislation is still active through Dec. 31,
since Dennis will still be a congressman awhile,”
Steve Zarlenga of the American Monetary Institute
told AFP. Zarlenga spoke to this newspaper just after
15-term, anti-free trader Rep.Marcy Kaptur unseated
Kucinich, amid a redrawing due to Ohio’s declining
population. The newly redrawn 9th District (eighttermer
Kucinich had represented the 10th) favored
Rep. Kaptur’s territory over Kucinich’s.
Notably, Rep. Kaptur’s GOP opponent in November
will be Samuel Wurzelbacher—also known as
Joe the Plumber—along with candidates from other
parties and independents who may run.
H.R. 2990 would essentially nationalize the privately
owned Federal Reserve. The 29,000-member
Chicago Teachers’ Union already endorsed it, as did
the American Friends Service Committee’s chapter
in northeast Ohio—a Quaker 501(c)(3) social-action
group.
Zarlenga hopes concerned Americanswill contact
their congressional representatives to cosponsor this
bill, which he feels will be reintroduced in the next
(113th) Congress—provided it gets more backing.

Rep. Michael Turner (R-Ohio), the chairman
of the House Armed Services subcommittee
on Strategic Forces, is trying
to ratchet up congressional efforts to
start awarwith Iran. Recently Turner told a breakfast
meeting with reporters that he is pushing for
more U.S. tax dollars to go to fund programs that
could be used by the Pentagon to attack Iran.
This comes at a time when Republicans are
looking to make massive cuts in the federal
budget, a positive move if it were directed at foreign
aid and war spending. So far though, Republicans
are going after domestic issues like
Medicaid, food stamps and unemployment programs
in their push to eliminate $5.3 trillion out
of the budget in the next 10 years.
Themilitary budget, however, remains a sacred
cow. Republicans want to increase spending on
war by $8 billion for fiscal year 2013. This is in direct
contrast to the Pentagon’s own request to cut
its budget by some $500 billion over the course of
the next decade.

DuringWorldWar II, Japan conquered
a large swath of the globe, including
most of the Pacific islands and all of
eastern Asia. Emperor Hirohito, portrayed
as an innocent “marine biologist,” in reality
directed the looting of the national
treasures found throughout this large chunk of
the world. These include the wealth of Britain,
Netherlands and France, which had moved
their gold to Asia “for safety’s sake,” and the
national treasures of 13 Asian nations invaded
by Japan.
Why they call it Yamashita’s gold is anyone’s
guess. In reality, itwas the treasure of Hirohito.
Yamashita merely worked for Hirohito.
The royal family was put in charge of supervising
the whole process, and as much booty as possible
was taken to Japan. Many treasure ships were
scuttled in Tokyo Bay, with an eye to salvaging the
loot when the war was over.
Some of the treasure was first taken to the
Philippines. But the Americans began sinking
Japanese ships left and right, so the emperor and
his family decided to hide much of the treasure in
caves in the Philippines, expecting and hoping that
the islands would remain in Japanese hands at the
end of thewar and the loot could then be recovered.
The routinewas to select a good cave, fill itwith
treasure, and then blowup the entrance to the cave,
with the workers sealed inside where they would
soon die.
After the war, many secret deals were made by
the U.S. government to let Japanese war criminals,
especially the top criminal, the emperor, and the
royal family, off the hook. In exchange,much of the
stolen gold, silver, gems, antiquities etcwas secretly
taken by U.S. government insiders, particularly the
OSS/CIA and various generals in themilitary. This is
where the secret agency got its first big financing—
under the table of course. This secret dealingwas itself
one of the greatest crimes of the 20th century.
Noted historians and respected investigative
journalists Sterling and Peggy Seagrave, in their
book Gold Warriors, documented the multibilliondollarWorldWar
II loot, valued at perhaps over 120
billion 1945 dollars.
In December 1937 Japan declared war on China
and surrounded the capital city, which at that time
was Nanking. Prince Chichibu, younger brother of
Hirohito, had been chosen to direct the ultra secret
treasure-looting team. This team was given a code
name of “the Golden Lily” after a poemthe emperor
had written, and 6,600 tons of gold were recovered
from Nanking alone, plus silver and precious
stones. Thatwas just the beginning of the emperor’s
loot-the-world operation.
On December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor suffered a
“surprise” attack fromthe empire of Japan, delivering
a spectacular blow to U.S. military forces.
The “island fortress” of Singapore soon fell to
Gen. Tomoyuki Yamashita (February 1942), and
with Gen. Douglas MacArthur pulling out of the
Philippines, abandoning hismen, the last American
and Filipino troops surrendered to Japan’s Gen.
Masaharu Homma. The infamous Death March
began.
Japanese victories on all fronts were heady.
Burmawas in Japanese hands byMarch 1942. Plans
had been drawn up to invade Australia. Southeast
Asia and most of the islands in the Pacific were as
good as Japan’s.
Yasuhito, Prince Chichibu of Japan’s royal family,
in Singapore, was very pleased when his men
found the treasures of Britain stored in Asian banks.
Another pleasant surprise experienced by Prince
Chichibu was the discovery that the Dutch had
moved their treasures to the East Indies. Not only
did Japan have the wealth of the Asian continent,
but they were now rewarded with much of the European
treasures as well.
Collection of wealth throughout the conquered
lands continued.With over 5,000 years of Asia’s antiquity
to pillage, the amounts collected were astronomical.
With Shanghai in their hands, the Golden
Lily team found themselves stretched to the limit
keeping upwith the collection andmelting down of
precious metals.
Japan’s luck, however, started to run out byMay
1942. Their first setback was the Battle of the Coral
Sea, where the Allies had forced Japan to turn back
her invasion fleet, which Hirohito had planned to
land in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. The
following month they suffered another big setback
with the Battle of Midway, where Japan lost four
carriers and the cream of her aviators. These were
the very ships and pilots that had attacked Pearl
Harbor five months earlier. In August the U.S.
landed an invasion force on Guadalcanal. Japan
tried for months to dislodge the American Marines
but eventually had to concede this island
base. After that Japanwas unable
to launch anothermajor offensive anywhere.
The war would drag on for three
years, while the Japanese gradually
lost the lands that they had conquered.
Hirohito’s dream was ending, and his
nightmare had begun.
By mid-1942 Prince Chichibu was
facedwith the challenge ofwhere and
how to hide the treasures so that they
could not be discovered after the war.
He decided the loot would have to be
hidden in caves and tunnel systems.
As the Seagraves explain, a pivotal
event in the recovery of the Golden
Lily caches was the torture of Gen. Yamashita’s
driver, who eventually confessed the whereabouts
of some of the repositories.
After thewar,much of the hidden gold and treasure
was gathered up by Severino Diaz Garcia Santa
Romana, an OSS and CIA agent, known as Santy.
Santy worked with U.S. Gen. Edward Lansdale and
other corrupt U.S. generals and politicians, to secrete
the gold in foreign bank accounts. The stolen
loot was utilized for a variety of purposes, in particular
the financing of U.S. cloak-and-dagger operations.
The booty was combined with more treasure
stolen from the Nazis to create a vast slush fund
called the Black Eagle trust, which ultimately became
a source of enormous corruption, luringmany
individuals into temptation and, sometimes, death.
This bloody gold gave the Truman administration
access to virtually limitless unvouchered funds
for secret, and usually unconstitutional, operations.
It also provided an asset base that was used by
Washington to beef up the treasuries of its allies, to
bribe politicians and to manipulate elections.
It is a vast story and in this space we can only
point out some highlights. But the purpose of Gold
Warriors, by the Seagraves, is to reveal why so little
is known of the massive Japanese looting of the
world, and the devious and unconstitutional role
Washington politicians and bureaucrats played in
the taking over of much of this booty and glossing
over horrible Japanese atrocities, especially by the
emperor and royal family, and the cover-up of all of
this, which continues to this day. They have backed
up their book with extensive research, and it is a
very important contribution to the field of authentic,
revisionist history.

Mainstream newspapers are on a “death
watch,” said one expert who dedicates
his time to maintaining a massive clearinghouse
of information on the Internet
that is documenting the decline of the biggest
dailies.
One of the foremost thought-leaders on this subject,
Paul Gillin, founder of “Newspaper
Death Watch,” began his
website five years ago by warning
of a precipitous decline in mainstream
print publications.
After both The Wall Street Journal
and Boston Globe didn’t find it
necessary to run an op-ed piece
written by Gillin on this topic, he
tookmatters into his own hands by
informing people about the changes he sawcoming
for the biggest newspapers.
Sure enough, Gillin’s predictions came true as
2009 saw the collapse of two major dailies—The
Rocky Mountain News and The Seattle Post-Intelligencer—
in addition to The Boston Globe almost
being shut down.
In a March 15 interview Gillin spoke with this
writer to spell out his views about the mainstream
newspapers.
“I didn’t want to dance on the graves of newspapers,
but these closures were a wake-up call for the
industry,” Gillin noted. “If newspapers are going to
survive, they need to get their costs in line tomatch
revenues.”
When asked what he’d suggest to newspaper
publishers, Gillin replied: “They need to shed their
assumptions. You don’t have to be in print to still be
in the news business. They have to think real hard
if print is still a profitable business. Then they have
to check their gut. Do they have the stomach to
make cuts in staff? That’s the decision.
They don’t like to hear what
I’msaying, and I don’t blame them.
I feel for them.”
Not intending to convey a sense
of gloomand doom, Gillin does see
a rebirth of journalism.
“For the first two years on my
website, I focused on the death of
newspapers,” he said. “But the past
three years I’ve shiftedmy attention intomaking the
business model practical. Good journalism should
never be taken for granted; we need to preserve it.”
The advent of the Internet and mobile devices
where people can download the latest information
has certainly changed the world, and some of the
largest newspapers in the United States have taken
the biggest hit when it comes to profits, as a result
of this.
“From1970 to 2006, newspapers were one of the
most predictably profitable businesses on the
planet,” Gillin pointed out. “Before the ’70s, newspapers
relied on a huge circulation stream. But after
that, most newspaper revenue came from advertising.
They raked in money.”
That came to an end beginning in the 1980s as the
number of big dailies began to decline.
According to Gillin, “During the 1940s, NewYork
City had approximately a dozen dailies. By the
1980s, that number dropped to three.”
Since that time, though there continues to be a
decline formajor dailies, which led to University of
Southern California’s Annenberg School releasing a
shocking report on Dec. 14, 2011, which predicted
that in five years there would only be four major
daily U.S. newspapers left in print.
Faced with the possibility of such a scenario,
Gillin said: “The Annenberg report isn’t as outrageous
as it sounds. Althoughmajor dailies are dying
the fastest, they won’t completely go out of business.
Instead, they’ll discontinue publication on less
profitable days such as Monday, Tuesday and Saturday.
In fact, these dailies are already quietly cutting
back, but they’re doing it with little fanfare.”
The problem, say experts, is that publishers and
editors are finding it difficult to change their frame
of reference. A study released in earlyMarch by the
Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in
Journalism revealed that for every dollar gained in
new digital revenue, print revenue was losing $7.
Gillin then proceeded to describe the faulty business
model that hinders print publications: “Eighty
percent of all costs associated with producing a
newspaper have nothing to do with the news.
Rather, they’re paying for buildings, trucks, presses,
ink, rent, support staff and other related expenses.
When all of these items are stripped away, the cost
of good journalism isn’t all that high.”

During theMarch 15 interview, AFP asked
Paul Gillin to compare digital to print.
“Today, 90 percent of newspaper revenue
still comes from print, while only
10 percent is derived fromdigital. But, it only costs
20 percent to run a digital operation as opposed to
print. As such, the business model requires that
newspapersmove away fromthe huge costs associatedwith
printing presses, real estate and staff.”
Not to mention the astronomical postage expenses
associated with newspaper distribution.
He offered an example of how a publication
has effectivelymade this transition: “Four years
ago, PC magazine quit its print subscriptions and
is now completely digital. It endured massive
layoffs to cut costs, but today it’s doing all right.
The reasonwhy is that digital is the only growth
story in this industry.”
Still, how can newspapers overcome an attitude
among youths that Internet information
should be “free”? Gillin doesn’t buy into this line
of thinking. “Young people need to realize that
high quality content demands a price,” he said.
“There’s no reason to believe people won’t pay
for something in digital form. But they do expect
to pay less for it than they do for print.”

May is “slip, slide and duck”month for the
Bilderberg group, a Rothschild- and
Rockefeller-oriented unofficial group of
approximately 120 to 140 guests,mostly
from North America and Europe, that meets annually.
Most of the guests are bankers, politicians or
heads of major corporations.
The Bilderbergers are trying to get Congress to
support sovereignty-surrendering treaties while
Americans sleep. First they ordered President
Obama to try to slip the Law of the Sea Treaty past
distracted congressmen. Now they are telling the
fawning president to sneak in the American Union
Treaty, or AUT, also during May.
Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) stands tall among the
rest of those in Congress by leading the opposition
to the AUT.
The AUTwould eliminate the borders separating
Mexico, the United States and Canada. Bilderberg
plans this as the first step in eliminating all borders
in the Western Hemisphere, creating an American
Union similar to the European Union, with a common
currency that might be called the “amero.”
In 2007, Rep. Virgil Goode (R-Va.) introduced
House Concurrent Resolution 40, “expressing the
sense of Congress that the United States should not
engage in the construction of a North American
Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) superhighway system
or enter into a North American Union with
Mexico and Canada.” Though that bill died in committee,
52 congressmen joined Goode and Paul in
support by cosponsoring it. See the list of legislators
at the end of this column.
When the issue came to light, Paul was smeared
by the globalist-backed Newsweekmagazine,which
at the time was owned by Washington Post Company
head and Bilderberger Donald Graham.
Newsweek accused Paul of fostering a “conspiracy
theory regarding the Council on Foreign Relations
and some plan to merge the United States with
Canada and Mexico.” Newsweek is now owned by
another internationalist, billionaire ex-Rep. Jane
Harman (D-Calif.).
“It’s the same old story,” Paul told Jerome Corsi,
Harvard Ph.D. and author of numerous books. “If
Newsweek can’t discredit themessage, they have to
discredit the messenger. It’s not just me talking
about it.We have some 14 states passing resolutions
to oppose the North American superhighways [and]
amendments passed in Congress have taken away
funds for integration projects. There aremillions of
Americans who oppose the globalist agenda.”
Paul continued: “Millions of Americans know
about these issues and are concerned about them.
What Iwas trying to say in a [recent Republican] debate
[on national television] is that this is not so
much secret debates behind closed doors but real
philosophical differences between those who believe
in globalism, including many at the top of the
Democratic and Republican parties, and those of us
who believe in national sovereignty and securing
our borders.”
Paul said he wants to “deal with the world in a
voluntary fashion, through trade, travel and friendship
than through higher levels of government. I’ve
always been opposed to more government to
achieve integration throughout the world. I reject
the UN, NAFTA-CAFTA, North American Union approach,”
because it undermines the Constitution.

Bachus (Ala.), Roscoe G. Bartlett (Md.), Rob Bishop

As the war in Afghanistan winds down, the
Pentagon’s focus has shifted to Africa
and a new kind of warfare, using drone
andmissile attacks, small Special Forces
teams and a mixture of Marines and special advisors
to train African national armies to act as proxies
in the American global empire.
Much of this warfare is being
promoted under the rubrics of humanitarian
aid and combating
piracy. While those may be two
reasons for establishing a bridgehead
on the African continent
they do not tell the complete story.
Secretly, the objective has been to
wage war against a range of perceived
enemies, with fewer boots
on the ground and less accountability to the American
electorate.
When Barack Obama sent 100 Special Operations
troops to Uganda in 2011, his declared aim
was to hunt down leaders of the so-called Lord’s
Resistance Army, founded by Joseph Kony. That,
however, was a smokescreen. As of Feb. 5, 2012,
the U.S.military presence in Uganda has expanded,
working to eliminate another group that has never
attacked the United States—Harakat al-Shabaab al-
Mujahideen, which operates in nearby Somalia and
elsewhere in East Africa.
That became apparentwith the arrival of soldiers
from the Marine Force Reserve. One of its officers,
Cpl Jad Sleiman, had this to say about its role: “Special
Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 12, the
Marines’ Sicily-based parent command, is tasked
with sending small training groups into Africa to
partnerwith localmilitaries in an effort to indirectly
blunt the spread of extremist groups across the continent.
The task force has dispatched teams across
a wide swath of Africa over the course of their sixmonth
deployment in support of
Marine Forces Africa, sending anywhere
from five to 50 Marines into
partner nations for days to months
at a time.”
Uganda is not the only East African
nationwhere there is a growing
U.S. military presence. Others include
Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi,
Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Rwanda,
South Sudan and Somalia.
Some of these nations are not merely hosting
U.S. military trainers but have secret bases from
which Special Forces can be dispatched to hit targets
across the region. The largest base is Camp
Lemonnier in Djibouti, but there are other U.S. sites
in Ethiopia, which have been designed as launch
pads for attacks on groups in Somalia and Yemen
and for covert operations against Iran. Ethiopia,
which has its eyes on Sudan’s oil, has had a long relationship
with the Pentagon. As far back as 2003,
it provided training facilities for the U.S. 20th
Mountain Division.
The Horn of Africa is a powder keg of tribal friction.
It is also an area rich in energy resources and
is geographically positioned to allow the U.S. to
keep eyes on Iran, Libya and Egypt. Bymaintaining
only specialized forces in host nations like Uganda,
the Pentagon knows there is less likelihood Africans
will have flashbacks to the colonial decades when
the British, French and Dutch controlled the region
with considerable brutality.
Nevertheless, there is a real risk that the deeper
the U.S. becomes entangled in the internal politics
of some of these countries, the greater the likelihood
secret wars will develop into larger conflicts.
Israel also has a keen interest in the region and
is believed to have surveillance and Special Operations
posts in Eritrea and Ethiopia.

NEW YORK, N.Y.—Not long before a U.S.
soldier in Afghanistan carried out a rampage
that killed 16 civilians—a world
headline-grabber, despite numerous other
killings of innocents over 10 years by U.S. unmanned
drones and other means—a former U.S.
ambassador to Afghanistan revealed that American
soldiers will remain there well into 2016.
Ron Neumann, addressing the
Foreign Policy Association (FPA)
in the CBS building Feb. 9, said:
“The current policy is broadlymisunderstood
and mischaracterized
in the press; The New York Times
and The Washington Post have
regular stories that speak about
2014 when all foreign troops
leave. There is no such intention;
that is not the policy.”
Asked about this timetable, U.S. citizen Kadir
Mohmand, a prominent Afghanistan freedomfighter
from the Soviet-occupation days, told AFP he understands
that the U.S. will never fully let go of
Afghanistan, since “it is the heart of Asia,” and profiteering
from war, from the opium trade and
through other channels carries no genuine deadline.
“This [drawdown] is really to give power to the
CIA and Blackwater [a private mercenary military
outfit, once called Xe, nowcalled Academi]. They’re
just fooling the American people,” he said.
In a letter to Washington legislators recently, as
part of his efforts with the Afghan National Peace
Council, Mohmand wrote: “The relationship . . . is
one in which the [U.S.] government supports
Afghan war lords, war profiteers and a corrupt
Afghan government to the long-term detriment of
the American and Afghan people.”
At the FPAmeeting, Neumann outlined some unfinished
U.S. business: “We will not be finished
building air support [and] helicopter support; we
will still be flying combat airmissions. . . . [N]one of
[this] will be really finished before about 2016.”
According to Neumann, “10,000 [U.S. soldiers]
came out last year; 23,000 more troops, that is, the
rest of the surge, will come out at the end of summer
of [2012]. That leaves 68,000.”
At the NATO summit coming to
Chicago in May, Neumann hopes
U.S. policy in Afghanistan will be
clarified. “Where there is a considerable
lack of clarity . . . is our intentions
after 2014,” he admitted.
Washington’s inability to affirma
complete withdrawal has many
Afghans angry. That explains in part
why a number of Afghan newspapers
are reporting awidely held belief in the country
that the much-reported killing spree on the part of
Army Staff Sgt. Robert Bales is not a case of “one
bad apple.” Instead, it is the result of a continued
demoralizing and horrifying U.S. policy of drone
strikes, night raids and helicopter attacks wherein
Afghan civilians pay the ultimate price—a nightmare
that can only end by terminating the occupation
well before 2016.
Most Americans believe we should get out of
Afghanistan as soon as possible. However, the Iraq
Veterans Against theWar’s Chicago chapter plans to
march on the NATO Chicago summit to show their
opposition to the occupation and to “ceremoniously
return our medals to NATO generals.”

Contrary to what propagandists for Israel
in the controlled media would have you
believe, most Americans would not support
Israel if it attacks Iran. The results of
a recent poll by the Pew Research Center for the
People and the Press left supporters of Israel a little
bit uneasy.
While Israel’s supporters loudly claim “most
Americans” are firmly in Israel’s corner, Pew found
to the contrary that 51 percent of Americans believe
the U.S. should stay neutral in a conflict between
Israel and Iran and that an additional 5
percent said the U.S. should oppose Israel outright.
Fully 56 percent of Americans effectively stand
against Israel’s war fever. In an election, that would
be called a landslide.
Another 4 percent polled didn’t know where
they stood. Only 39 percent would support Israel—
and that’s about the percentage of the vote Barry
Goldwater won in his historic lopsided loss in the
1964 election.
The poll found 65 percent of those between the
ages of 18 to 29—those who end up fighting the
wars—overwhelmingly supported U.S. neutrality.
Seven percent of themsaid the U.S. should oppose
Israel.
Fully 71 percent of Republicans said the United
States should support Israel. In stark contrast, only
31 percent of liberal Democrats would side with
Israel, with 54 percent of them saying the U.S.
should remain neutral.
These poll results demonstrate the bankruptcy
of the modern-day GOP, which once stood in favor
of traditional American non-intervention in foreign
conflicts, a philosophy first laid down by George
Washington in his Farewell Address.
What is additionally interesting about the poll is
the manner in which it was reported—or not reported—
by the major press.
First of all, althoughmost Pew polls—especially
on controversial issues—are generally given a
modicum of publicity throughout the mass media,
this poll was largely ignored by big media.
To the extent the media did mention the poll,
those reports focused on the aspect of the poll
finding that most Americans opposed Iranian acquisition
of nuclear weapons, often ignoring altogether
the point that the poll found, as noted
above, that Americans did not believe the U.S.
should support Israel’s agenda for war.
Despite public opposition to war, The New York
Times reportedMarch 19 that “in the standoff with
Iran, it is the hawkish groups supporting military
action that wield more money, political clout and
high-profile names than do the advocates of a
diplomatic solution. In all, pro-Israeli political action
committees and donors affiliated with them
have given more than $47 million directly to federal
candidates since 2000, [and] they rank among
the top contributors to a number of prominent Democrats
and Republicans.”

Army Pvt. Bradley Manning, whose
leaked video clip in 2010 exposed the
murder of 11 innocent Iraqi civilians by
a U.S. attack helicopter, is one of six
whistleblowers charged by the Obama
administration for violating the Espionage Act of
1917. He is held in prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
awaiting trial, most likely in August. If his case or
any of the others ends up in the Supreme Court, as
some expect will happen, a ruling in favor of the
government would instantly criminalize all disclosures
of classified information to the public.
The act has been used against whistleblowers
only three times before Obama took office.
Manning is accused of giving 700,000 hacked documents
and video clips to whistleblower website
WikiLeaks. In the now notorious video clip of the
helicopter killings, a Reuters reporter and his driver
were also shown getting killed by the U.S. soldiers
in an Apache helicopter.
Manning faces 22 charges under the Espionage
Act including aiding the enemy, theft of public property
or records and wrongfully causing intelligence
to be published on the Internet. If convicted, he
could get life in jail without parole.
The other six leakers who are currently awaiting
trial have alsoworked for various government agencies.
They include: Shamai Leibowitz, a translator
for the FBI; Thomas Drake, a whistleblower for the
NSA; Stephen Kim, who was with the State Department,
and Jeffrey Sterling and John Kyriakou, who
worked for the CIA.
Julian Assange, the founder ofWikiLeaks, which
published the video clips allegedly provided by
Manning, is expected to be the seventh person to be
charged in a leak case under the act.
Daniel Ellsberg,who leaked the Pentagon Papers
in 1971, was charged under the Espionage Act and
faced 12 felony charges and 115 years in prison. The
Pentagon Papers was the informal name of the U.S.
government’s secret encyclopedic history of the
Vietnam War and the lead-up to it. Ellsberg eventually
had the charges dropped due to government
misconduct against him that included illegal wiretaps
and burglarizing his psychiatrist’s office, for
which President Richard Nixon faced impeachment
hearings.
“Everything that Richard Nixon did to me, for
which he faced impeachment and prosecution,
which led to his resignation, is now legal under the
Patriot Act, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance
Act and the National Defense Authorization Act,”
said Ellsberg in a recent interview with Chris
Hedges of truthdig.com.
Although Ellsberg’s case was dismissed, this is
not likely to happen today as the U.S. government
seems headed into a police-state era.
In the upcoming election, perhaps it would be
better for the government to change the title of president
to “pharaoh” or “emperor,” andwe, his humble
servants, should address himas “yourmajesty.”

NEW BOOK FROM TRAFICANT IS HERE!

The large polling firm Rasmussen Reports
revealed last week that the economy “remains
far and away the most important
thing on voters’ minds this election season,”
with 82 percent defining it as “very important.”
Andwith the release of the February jobs report,
the race is on for politicians to capitalize on what
appears to be good news for the U.S. economy.
However, the statistics can be read in variousways.
The newest report fromthe Bureau of Labor Statistics
(BLS) states employment “rose by 227,000 in
February.” The “National Employment Report” by
ADP, the nation’s largest private payroll firm, provided
a different finding, with jobs increasing by
216,000. Regardless, this is good news, right?
The truth is, these figures are not as impressive
as they sound, and the political elites know it.
While any reason for hope is a good thing to
Americans, the politicians are being careful to bring
some balance to the statistics, realizing that gains
are fragile and the road to the White House in 2012
is distant still.
Even Austan Goolsbee, the former chairman of
President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers,
was cautious in expressing optimism, saying that if
“growth slows down some (which seems likely),we
probably aren’t going to see consistent big numbers
like this.”
ADP’s “National Employment Report” reveals
that of the 216,000 new jobs created, 108,000 were
from“small businesses,” defined as thosewith “payrolls
with one to 49 employees.” This means these
“created jobs” could be merely one person starting
a brand new business with himself as the sole employee.
Not an encouraging scenario.
More troubling still is the fact that the overwhelming
number of new hires—170,000 out of the
216,000 total new jobs created in February—remained
in the service sector, which produces nothing
of real value for the country.
The BLS report found that the “number of unemployed
persons, at 12.8 million, was essentially
unchanged in February” and of the “added 82,000”
jobs in the “professional and business services,”
more than 45,000 were considered “temporary help
services” jobs.
With Election Day still months ahead, any alteration
of employment numbers will be carefully
watched and factored into any campaigning politician’s
speeches and platform.

The government of the United States is in
the process of embarking on another nowin
war. There are many, sometimes too
many, Americanswho seemto be having a
love affair with war and a passion for straightening
out the “shortcomings” of other countries.
They ought to know that we have a presence in
over 130 countries, turning them into “democratic
nations” at gunpoint. Our military efforts to stabilize
Afghanistan have failed aftermore than 10 years
of trying. There is nomention of the lucrative heroin
trade. Afghan President Hamid Karzai remains a
heavily guarded “leader,” and his administration is
well known for being wholly corrupt.
Now the country that is in the crosshairs of the
international nation builders is Iran, the land of the
ancient Persians. For its own safety Iran would like
to have nuclear parity with its neighbors Israel and
Pakistan, but will settle for the development of
peaceful atomic energy.
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has
been calling for “crippling sanctions” against Iran
formanymonths. According to The JerusalemPost,
his wish was granted when SWIFT, the Society for
Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications,
which facilitates most international money
transfers, cut off Iranian banks’ access to the global
financial system.
Mark Dubowitz, executive director of the Foundation
for the Defense of Democracies and aWhite
House adviser, called SWIFT’s move “unprecedented”
because Iran was expelled from“the financial
equivalent of the UN.”
Israeli Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz hailed
SWIFT’s decision preventing Iran from using the
electronic financial transfer systembecause it could
potentially bring down the Iranian economy.
The Post reported that the secretary general of
Iran’s High Council on Human Rights, Mohammad
Javad Larijani, said that he thinks “U.S. intelligence
services and the West know we are not after building
nuclear weapons.” YetWashington and Tel Aviv
press onwith their desire to destroy Iran and starve
the Iranian people—all because a group of politicians
think the Persian countrymay someday build
a nuclear weapon.
Meanwhile the American Israel Public Affairs
Committee, with operatives in every congressional
district in America, works its will on ambitious
politicians of both political parties, especially in this
election year.
In its foreign relations, the United States should
heed the words of George Washington in his
Farewell Address to avoid permanent allianceswith
any nation and thus remain free. That’s good advice
that should be taken seriously.

First Steps ofWarWith Iran Already Taken

How far will these presidential candidates
go to appease the American Israel Public
Affairs Committee (AIPAC)? Let’s tell it
like it is. All the contentious debate and
accusations surrounding this presidential race center
around Iran and the strategy for dealing with it.
Barack Obama has cautioned all candidates that
the “rhetoric could be very dangerous.” He’s referring
to the tough talk of attacking Iran. Obama has
maintained a program strategy of “containment
with sanctions.” His concern is that all this chestpounding
rhetoric may escalate to an attack posture.
In fact, Obama attempted to cool the jets of
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who
seems to be planning a preemptive strike against
Iran. Netanyahu is claiming Iran is close to attaining
nuclear weapons capability.
Takeme to the river. Throwme in the water. The
drums of war are reverberating. That’s right, just
like the old weapons of mass destruction shtick
with Iraq, now it’s nukes in Iran.
I do not believe this propaganda.
Let’s look at the facts. If you can picture a snapshot
of theMiddle East you will be able to find only
one nation with a complete nuclear arsenal already
in place and operative. That nation is Israel.
Has anyone ever questioned the why, how and
where this nuclear buildup occurred in Israel? I believe
President John F. Kennedy expressed concern
and caution, but no specific action was taken to
stop Israel’s nuclear program. No other U.S. president
has even questioned it. Israel has been free of
oversight and scrutiny.
Imagine that you lived in the Mideast knowing
your neighbor, Israel, has 400 nukes. You of course
have none.Would you be concerned?Would you be
afraid of Israel? Could you ever become a genuine
friendly neighbor?
Evidently, Obama is starting to get the message.
Obama addressed AIPAC in late February and attempted
to woo support with some new, revised
rhetoric. Obama now said that “containment of nuclear
Iran is not an option,” which is all but saying
that a war on Iran is inevitable.
Obama had little choice. Israel put him on the
spot. Israel does not like his overt position of caution.
Israelwants America to attack Iran, or at least,
announce thatWashingtonwill support Israelwhen
Israel attacks. If Obama stays aloof, the Israeli machine
in America will try to defeat him in his reelection
bid.
Remember that Israel never wanted Obama. Israel
wanted Hillary Clinton. In fact, Israel plied and
spied on the U.S. to push President GeorgeW. Bush
into attacking Iran, so thatwhen Hillarywas elected
president, she could assume the position that, “Bush
started the war, and Imust ensure the protection of
our troops.”
Well, Bush finally wised up and refused to attack
Iran. But the new plan is in full throttle, folks.
Mitt Romney, Rick Santorumand Newt Gingrich
are all saying that, “Obama is soft on the dangers of
Iran.” All three candidates are vying for the Israeli
political network to get elected.
The question is, will Obama appease Israel?
Israel stillwants to see Obama defeated, and you
can bet your last dollar that Israel is burning the
midnight oil to do just that. Get back at me!

terms “liberal” and “conservative.” Those
terms may have meant something 25 years
ago, but the political paradigm has changed
so much that they don’t mean much any
more. The real debate is between nationalismand
internationalism. In the 21st century
we are finding more common ground between
the traditional “left” and “right,” who
are quite frequently standing together
against the plutocratic internationalists who
control the big media and the Federal Reserve
private banking monopoly.

EYE ON EVERYBODY
I continue to be amazed at the number of
people who say AFP should avoid mentioning
the problems of theMiddle East and the venal
behavior of the Israeli lobby in America. First
of all, avoiding the issue won’t make it go
away. Secondly, the documented evidence
demonstrates that the Israeli lobby keeps files
on all active patriots in America, and not just
the ones who voice opinions about foreign policy.
Everybody fromgun rights activists, to IRS
critics, to advocates of abolishing the Fed—
the list goes on and on—are all being carefully
scrutinized by the Anti-Defamation
League, the Southern Poverty Law Center and
other similar spy operations. Just because you
don’t say the words “Israel” or “Zionism” doesn’t
make you exempt.

TIME FOR CONGRESS TO WAKE UP
What’s stopping Congress fromgetting rid
of the “Obamacare” nightmare? Have our
representatives and senators tried pulling
the funds from it? Are they really outnumbered?
Or are they dragging their feet?
All these ladies and gentlemen have to do
is have a showdown on the legitimacy of
Obama’s credentials and impeach him.
All of the laws and regulations he is pushing
on us are unconstitutional, because he is
a fraud. The people should unite and move
against Washington for allowing the bureaucrats
to have complete say over us.
I hope ourmilitary is paying attention and
not planning to turn on us.
Finally, I believe Obama’s war on religion
is beginning to awaken the people. I hope
they are ready to home school their children
to give them a foundation for knowing right
from wrong and how to talk about it intelligently.

SOLUTION TO NUCLEAR MADNESS
Given the Iranian government’s open
commitment to destroy Israel and their growing
nuclear capacity to do so, U.S. support of
Israel to prevent an attack is understandable
and necessary. However, the frightening,
commonly held suggestion that the solution
would be for the U.S. and Israel to nuke Iran
could easily lead to WWIII in a heartbeat.
The safer solution would be to give Ahmadinejad’s
government an ultimatum requiring
inspection of all his nuclear facilities,
followed by a required destruction of his nuclear
capacity to follow through on his threat.
It is Ahmadinejad and his government
and not the Iranian people who have caused
this problem. If he should fail to submit to
our threat, then, and only then, the U.S. and
Israel would employ non-nuclear methods to
eliminate Iran’s nuclear capacity.
The Iranian people are not at fault here,
and they should not be sacrificed by a U.S.-
Israel nuclear strike against Iran.

There is only one 100-percent pollutionfree
fuel: compressed natural gas, or CNG.
Most of the gas-powered vehicles can be converted
to burn either CNG or gasoline by flipping
a switch on the dashboard. When on
CNG you will have to change oil every 10,000
miles, replace spark plugs and exhaust rarely.
Our cars would last far longer. The Northern
Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO)
has all their gas-powered vehicles converted.
We would be free of the oil companies.

Must Unite to Fight Globalism
A U.S. president seeking reelection went to an elementary school to
talk to the kids and generate some good publicity. After his talk he offered
question time. One boy put up his hand. The president asked him his
name. “Walter,” responded the boy. “And what is your question, Walter?”
asked the president. Walter said: “I have two questions: First, why do you
go to war without the permission of Congress? Second, why do you keep
saying you fixed the economy when it’s actually gotten worse?”
Just then, the bell rings for recess. The president informs the kids that
they will continue after recess.When they resume the president says, “OK,
