First, let me say, respectfully, that I see Earth Change Report subscribers as strong-minded people who think for themselves.

Today's newsletter includes much to think about - no matter where in the world you might live - because what is happening in South Africa (as revealed by a scientist who has just been dismissed for telling the truth) is simply a portent of what is happening globally.

But as I was saying to some friends this week, while our bodies are inclined to react with anxiety when we start wondering what Earth Changes are coming, our minds are what we use to make our choices.

Therefore, it's sometimes essential to calm the body down by simply saying "hold on there...we're making the right decisions to see us through whatever's coming..so relax."

It works.

So while the economy slides down that bottomless pit, you might take comfort in the fact that some pundits are expecting gold to climb into the thousands of dollars per ounce in the next year or so. (Good news if you can afford some). [Silver to do even better percentage-wise.]

On the other side of that coin, the extraction of gold has done much to pollute our world - as you'll learn in today's newsletter.

Worse yet, the side effects of using chemicals, not just for gold mining, have impacted South Africa's water supply so badly that human health is at extreme risk - and the entire industrial base of that country is under threat.

Enough said on that for the moment. After all, Christmas is on the way.
