12 Warning Signs of U.S. Hyperinflation
One of the most frequently asked questions we receive at the National Inflation Association (NIA) is what warning signs will there be when hyperinflation is imminent. In our opinion, the majority of the warning signs that hyperinflation is imminent are already here today, but most Americans are failing to properly recognize them. NIA believes that there is a serious risk of hyperinflation breaking out as soon as the second half of this calendar year and that hyperinflation is almost guaranteed to occur by the end of this decade.
In our estimation, the most likely time frame for a full-fledged outbreak of hyperinflation is between the years 2013 and 2015. Americans who wait until 2013 to prepare, will most likely see the majority of their purchasing power wiped out. It is essential that all Americans begin preparing for hyperinflation immediately.
Here are NIA's top 12 warning signs that hyperinflation is about to occur:
1) The Federal Reserve is Buying 70% of U.S. Treasuries. The Federal Reserve has been buying 70% of all new U.S. treasury debt. Up until this year, the U.S. has been successful at exporting most of its inflation to the rest of the world, which is hoarding huge amounts of U.S. dollar reserves due to the U.S. dollar's status as the world's reserve currency. In recent months, foreign central bank purchases of U.S. treasuries have declined from 50% down to 30%, and Federal Reserve purchases have increased from 10% up to 70%. This means U.S. government deficit spending is now directly leading to U.S. inflation that will destroy the standard of living for all Americans.
2) The Private Sector Has Stopped Purchasing U.S. Treasuries. The U.S. private sector was previously a buyer of 30% of U.S. government bonds sold. Today, the U.S. private sector has stopped buying U.S. treasuries and is dumping government debt. The Pimco Total Return Fund was recently the single largest private sector owner of U.S. government bonds, but has just reduced its U.S. treasury holdings down to zero. Although during the financial panic of 2008, investors purchased government bonds as a safe haven, during all future panics we believe precious metals will be the new safe haven.
3) China Moving Away from U.S. Dollar as Reserve Currency. The U.S. dollar became the world's reserve currency because it was backed by gold and the U.S. had the world's largest manufacturing base. Today, the U.S. dollar is no longer backed by gold and China has the world's largest manufacturing base. There is no reason for the world to continue to transact products and commodities in U.S. dollars, when most of everything the world consumes is now produced in China. China has been taking steps to position the yuan to be the world's new reserve currency.
The People's Bank of China stated earlier this month, in a story that went largely unreported by the mainstream media, that it would respond to overseas demand for the yuan to be used as a reserve currency and allow the yuan to flow back into China more easily. China hopes to allow all exporters and importers to settle their cross border transactions in yuan by the end of 2011, as part of their plan to increase the yuan's international role. NIA believes if China really wants to become the world's next superpower and see to it that the U.S. simultaneously becomes the world's next Zimbabwe, all China needs to do is use their $1.15 trillion in U.S. dollar reserves to accumulate gold and use that gold to back the yuan.
4) Japan to Begin Dumping U.S. Treasuries. Japan is the second largest holder of U.S. treasury securities with $885.9 billion in U.S. dollar reserves. Although China has reduced their U.S. treasury holdings for three straight months, Japan has increased their U.S. treasury holdings seven months in a row. Japan is the country that has been the most consistent at buying our debt for the past year, but that is about the change. Japan is likely going to have to spend $300 billion over the next year to rebuild parts of their country that were destroyed by the recent earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster, and NIA believes their U.S. dollar reserves will be the most likely source of this funding. This will come at the worst possible time for the U.S., which needs Japan to increase their purchases of U.S. treasuries in order to fund our record budget deficits.
5) The Fed Funds Rate Remains Near Zero. The Federal Reserve has held the Fed Funds Rate at 0.00-0.25% since December 16th, 2008, a period of over 27 months. This is unprecedented and NIA believes the world is now flooded with excess liquidity of U.S. dollars.
When the nuclear reactors in Japan began overheating two weeks ago after their cooling systems failed due to a lack of electricity, TEPCO was forced to open relief valves to release radioactive steam into the air in order to avoid an explosion. The U.S. stock market is currently acting as a relief valve for all of the excess liquidity of U.S. dollars. The U.S. economy for all intents and purposes should currently be in a massive and extremely steep recession, but because of the Fed's money printing, stock prices are rising because people don't know what else to do with their dollars.
NIA believes gold, and especially silver, are much better hedges against inflation than U.S. equities, which is why for the past couple of years we have been predicting large declines in both the Dow/Gold and Gold/Silver ratios. These two ratios have been in free fall exactly like NIA projected.
The Dow/Gold ratio is the single most important chart all investors need to closely follow, but way too few actually do. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) itself is meaningless because it averages together the dollar based movements of 30 U.S. stocks. With just the DJIA, it is impossible to determine whether stocks are rising due to improving fundamentals and real growing investor demand, or if prices are rising simply because the money supply is expanding.
The Dow/Gold ratio illustrates the cyclical nature of the battle between paper assets like stocks and real hard assets like gold. The Dow/Gold ratio trends upward when an economy sees real economic growth and begins to trend downward when the growth phase ends and everybody becomes concerned about preserving wealth. With interest rates at 0%, the U.S. economy is on life support and wealth preservation is the focus of most investors. NIA believes the Dow/Gold ratio will decline to 1 before the hyperinflationary crisis is over and until the Dow/Gold ratio does decline to 1, investors should keep buying precious metals.
6) Year-Over-Year CPI Growth Has Increased 92% in Three Months. In November of 2010, the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS)'s consumer price index (CPI) grew by 1.1% over November of 2009. In February of 2011, the BLS's CPI grew by 2.11% over February of 2010, above the Fed's informal inflation target of 1.5% to 2%. An increase in year-over-year CPI growth from 1.1% in November of last year to 2.11% in February of this year means that the CPI's growth rate increased by approximately 92% over a period of just three months. Imagine if the year-over-year CPI growth rate continues to increase by 92% every three months. In 9 to 12 months from now we could be looking at a price inflation rate of over 15%. Even if the BLS manages to artificially hold the CPI down around 5% or 6%, NIA believes the real rate of price inflation will still rise into the double-digits within the next year.
7) Mainstream Media Denying Fed's Target Passed. You would think that year-over-year CPI growth rising from 1.1% to 2.11% over a period of three months for an increase of 92% would generate a lot of media attention, especially considering that it has now surpassed the Fed's informal inflation target of 1.5% to 2%. Instead of acknowledging that inflation is beginning to spiral out of control and encouraging Americans to prepare for hyperinflation like NIA has been doing for years, the media decided to conveniently change the way it defines the Fed's informal target.
The media is now claiming that the Fed's informal inflation target of 1.5% to 2% is based off of year-over-year changes in the BLS's core-CPI figures. Core-CPI, as most of you already know, is a meaningless number that excludes food and energy prices. Its sole purpose is to be used to mislead the public in situations like this. We guarantee that if core-CPI had just surpassed 2% and the normal CPI was still below 2%, the media would be focusing on the normal CPI number, claiming that it remains below the Fed's target and therefore inflation is low and not a problem.
The fact of the matter is, food and energy are the two most important things Americans need to live and survive. If the BLS was going to exclude something from the CPI, you would think they would exclude goods that Americans don't consume on a daily basis. The BLS claims food and energy prices are excluded because they are most volatile. However, by excluding food and energy, core-CPI numbers are primarily driven by rents. Considering that we just came out of the largest Real Estate bubble in world history, there is a glut of homes available to rent on the market. NIA has been saying for years that being a landlord will be the worst business to be in during hyperinflation, because it will be impossible for landlords to increase rents at the same rate as overall price inflation. Food and energy prices will always increase at a much faster rate than rents.
8) Record U.S. Budget Deficit in February of $222.5 Billion. The U.S. government just reported a record budget deficit for the month of February of $222.5 billion. February's budget deficit was more than the entire fiscal year of 2007. In fact, February's deficit on an annualized basis was $2.67 trillion. NIA believes this is just a preview of future annual budget deficits, and we will see annual budget deficits surpass $2.67 trillion within the next several years.
9) High Budget Deficit as Percentage of Expenditures. The projected U.S. budget deficit for fiscal year 2011 of $1.645 trillion is 43% of total projected government expenditures in 2011 of $3.819 trillion. That is almost exactly the same level of Brazil's budget deficit as a percentage of expenditures right before they experienced hyperinflation in 1993 and it is higher than Bolivia's budget deficit as a percentage of expenditures right before they experienced hyperinflation in 1985. The only way a country can survive with such a large deficit as a percentage of expenditures and not have hyperinflation, is if foreigners are lending enough money to pay for the bulk of their deficit spending. Hyperinflation broke out in Brazil and Bolivia when foreigners stopped lending and central banks began monetizing the bulk of their deficit spending, and that is exactly what is taking place today in the U.S.
10) Obama Lies About Foreign Policy. President Obama campaigned as an anti-war President who would get our troops out of Iraq. NIA believes that many Libertarian voters actually voted for Obama in 2008 over John McCain because they felt Obama was more likely to end our wars that are adding greatly to our budget deficits and making the U.S. a lot less safe as a result. Obama may have reduced troop levels in Iraq, but he increased troops levels in Afghanistan, and is now sending troops into Libya for no reason.
The U.S. is now beginning to occupy Libya, when Libya didn't do anything to the U.S. and they are no threat to the U.S. Obama has increased our overall overseas troop levels since becoming President and the U.S. is now spending $1 trillion annually on military expenses, which includes the costs to maintain over 700 military bases in 135 countries around the world. There is no way that we can continue on with our overseas military presence without seeing hyperinflation.
11) Obama Changes Definition of Balanced Budget. In the White House's budget projections for the next 10 years, they don't project that the U.S. will ever come close to achieving a real balanced budget. In fact, after projecting declining budget deficits up until the year 2015 (NIA believes we are unlikely to see any major dip in our budget deficits due to rising interest payments on our national debt), the White House projects our budget deficits to begin increasing again up until the year 2021. Obama recently signed an executive order to create the "National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform", with a mission to "propose recommendations designed to balance the budget, excluding interest payments on the debt, by 2015". Obama is redefining a balanced budget to exclude interest payments on our national debt, because he knows interest payments are about to explode and it will be impossible to truly balance the budget.
12) U.S. Faces Largest Ever Interest Payment Increases. With U.S. inflation beginning to spiral out of control, NIA believes it is 100% guaranteed that we will soon see a large spike in long-term bond yields. Not only that, but within the next couple of years, NIA believes the Federal Reserve will be forced to raise the Fed Funds Rate in a last-ditch effort to prevent hyperinflation. When both short and long-term interest rates start to rise, so will the interest payments on our national debt. With the public portion of our national debt now exceeding $10 trillion, we could see interest payments on our debt reach $500 billion within the next year or two, and over $1 trillion somewhere around mid-decade. When interest payments reach $1 trillion, they will likely be around 30% to 40% of government tax receipts, up from interest payments being only 9% of tax receipts today. No country has ever seen interest payments on their debt reach 40% of tax receipts without hyperinflation occurring in the years to come.

Unreported Soros Event Aims to Remake Entire Global Economy
Left-wing billionaire's own experts dominate quiet push for 'a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order.'

Two years ago, George Soros said he wanted to reorganize the entire global economic system. In two short weeks, he is going to start - and no one seems to have noticed.
On April 8, a group he's funded with $50 million is holding a major economic conference and Soros's goal for such an event is to "establish new international rules" and "reform the currency system." It's all according to a plan laid out in a Nov. 4, 2009, Soros op-ed calling for "a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order."
The event is bringing together "more than 200 academic, business and government policy thought leaders' to repeat the famed 1944 Bretton Woods gathering that helped create the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Soros wants a new 'multilateral system," or an economic system where America isn't so dominant.
More than two-thirds of the slated speakers have direct ties to Soros. The billionaire who thinks "the main enemy of the open society, I believe, is no longer the communist but the capitalist threat" is taking no chances.
Thus far, this global gathering has generated less publicity than a spelling bee. And that's with at least four journalists on the speakers list, including a managing editor for the Financial Times and editors for both Reuters and The Times. Given Soros's warnings of what might happen without an agreement, this should be a big deal. But it's not.
What is a big deal is that Soros is doing exactly what he wanted to do. His 2009 commentary pushed for "a new Bretton Woods conference, like the one that established the post-WWII international financial architecture." And he had already set the wheels in motion.
Just a week before that op-ed was published, Soros had founded the New York City-based Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), the group hosting the conference set at the Mount Washington Resort, the very same hotel that hosted the first gathering. The most recent INET conference was held at Central European University, in Budapest. CEU received $206 million from Soros in 2005 and has $880 million in its endowment now, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education.
This, too, is a gathering of Soros supporters. INET is bringing together prominent people like former U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown, former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker and Soros, to produce "a lot of high-quality, breakthrough thinking."
While INET claims more than 200 will attend, only 79 speakers are listed on its site - and it already looks like a Soros convention. Twenty-two are on Soros-funded INET's board and three more are INET grantees. Nineteen are listed as contributors for another Soros operation - Project Syndicate, which calls itself "the world's pre-eminent source of original op-ed commentaries" reaching "456 leading newspapers in 150 countries." It's financed by Soros's Open Society Institute. That's just the beginning.
The speakers include:
* Volcker is chairman of President Obama's Economic Advisory Board. He wrote the forward for Soros's best-known book, 'The Alchemy of Finance' and praised Soros as "an enormously successful speculator" who wrote "with insight and passion" about the problems of globalization.
* Economist Jeffrey Sachs, director of The Earth Institute and longtime recipient of Soros charity cash. Sachs received $50 million from Soros for the U.N. Millennium Project, which he also directs. Sachs is world-renown for his liberal economics. In 2009, for example, he complained about low U.S. taxes, saying the "U.S. will have to raise taxes in order to pay for new spending initiatives, especially in the areas of sustainable energy, climate change, education, and relief for the poor."
* Soros friend Joseph E. Stiglitz, a former senior vice president and chief economist for the World Bank and Nobel Prize winner in Economics. Stiglitz shares similar views to Soros and has criticized free-market economists whom he calls "free market fundamentalists." Naturally, he's on the INET board and is a contributor to Project Syndicate.
* INET Executive Director Rob Johnson, a former managing director at Soros Fund Management, who is on the Board of Directors for the Soros-funded Economic Policy Institute. Johnson has complained that government intervention in the fiscal crisis hasn't been enough and wanted "restructuring," including asking "for letters of resignation from the top executives of all the major banks."
Have no doubt about it: This is a Soros event from top to bottom. Even Soros admits his ties to INET are a problem, saying, "there is a conflict there which I fully recognize." He claims he stays out of operations. That's impossible. The whole event is his operation.
INET isn't subtle about its aims for the conference. Johnson interviewed fellow INET board member Robert Skidelsky about "The Need for a New Bretton Woods" in a recent video. The introductory slide to the video is subtitled: "How currency issues and tension between the US and China are renewing calls for a global financial overhaul." Skidelsky called for a new agreement and said in the video that the conflict between the United States and China was "at the center of any monetary deal that may be struck, that needs to be struck."
Soros described in the 2009 op-ed that U.S.-China conflict as "another stark choice between two fundamentally different forms of organization: international capitalism and state capitalism." He concluded that "a new multilateral system based on sounder principles must be invented." As he explained it in 2010, "we need a global sheriff."
In the 2000 version of his book "Open Society: Reforming Global Capitalism," Soros wrote how the Bretton Woods institutions "failed spectacularly" during the economic crisis of the late 1990s. When he called for a new Bretton Woods in 2009, he wanted it to "reconstitute the International Monetary Fund," and while he's at it, restructure the United Nations, too, boosting China and other countries at our expense.
"Reorganizing the world order will need to extend beyond the financial system and involve the United Nations, especially membership of the Security Council,' he wrote. 'That process needs to be initiated by the US, but China and other developing countries ought to participate as equals."
Soros emphasized that point, that this needs to be a global solution, making America one among many. "The rising powers must be present at the creation of this new system in order to ensure that they will be active supporters."
And that's exactly the kind of event INET is delivering, with the event website emphasizing "today's reconstruction must engage the larger European Union, as well as the emerging economies of Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Asia." China figures prominently, including a senior economist for the World Bank in Beijing, the director of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the chief adviser for the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the Director of the Center on U.S.-China Relations.
This is all easy to do when you have the reach of George Soros who funds more than 1,200 organizations. Except, any one of those 1,200 would shout such an event from the highest mountain. Groups like MoveOn.org or the Center for American Progress didn't make their names being quiet. The same holds true globally, where Soros has given more than $7 billion to Open Society Foundations - including many media-savvy organizations just a phone call away. Why hasn't the Soros network spread the word?
Especially since Soros warns, all this needs to happen because "the alternative is frightening." The Bush-hating billionaire says America is scary "because a declining superpower losing both political and economic dominance but still preserving military supremacy is a dangerous mix."
The Soros empire is silent about this new Bretton Woods conference because it isn't just designed to change global economic rules. It also is designed to put America in its place - part of a multilateral world the way Soros wants it. He wrote that the U.S. "could lead a cooperative effort to involve both the developed and the developing world, thereby reestablishing American leadership in an acceptable form."
That's what this conference is all about - changing the global economy and the United States to make them "acceptable" to George Soros.

What is a big deal is that Soros is doing exactly what he wanted to do. His 2009 commentary pushed for "a new Bretton Woods conference, like the one that established the post-WWII international financial architecture." And he had already set the wheels in motion.
Just a week before that op-ed was published, Soros had founded the New York City-based Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), the group hosting the conference set at the Mount Washington Resort, the very same hotel that hosted the first gathering. The most recent INET conference was held at Central European University, in Budapest. CEU received $206 million from Soros in 2005 and has $880 million in its endowment now, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education.
This, too, is a gathering of Soros supporters. INET is bringing together prominent people like former U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown, former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker and Soros, to produce "a lot of high-quality, breakthrough thinking."
While INET claims more than 200 will attend, only 79 speakers are listed on its site - and it already looks like a Soros convention. Twenty-two are on Soros-funded INET's board and three more are INET grantees. Nineteen are listed as contributors for another Soros operation - Project Syndicate, which calls itself "the world's pre-eminent source of original op-ed commentaries" reaching "456 leading newspapers in 150 countries." It's financed by Soros's Open Society Institute. That's just the beginning.
The speakers include:
* Volcker is chairman of President Obama's Economic Advisory Board. He wrote the forward for Soros's best-known book, 'The Alchemy of Finance' and praised Soros as "an enormously successful speculator" who wrote "with insight and passion" about the problems of globalization.
* Economist Jeffrey Sachs, director of The Earth Institute and longtime recipient of Soros charity cash. Sachs received $50 million from Soros for the U.N. Millennium Project, which he also directs. Sachs is world-renown for his liberal economics. In 2009, for example, he complained about low U.S. taxes, saying the "U.S. will have to raise taxes in order to pay for new spending initiatives, especially in the areas of sustainable energy, climate change, education, and relief for the poor."
* Soros friend Joseph E. Stiglitz, a former senior vice president and chief economist for the World Bank and Nobel Prize winner in Economics. Stiglitz shares similar views to Soros and has criticized free-market economists whom he calls "free market fundamentalists." Naturally, he's on the INET board and is a contributor to Project Syndicate.
* INET Executive Director Rob Johnson, a former managing director at Soros Fund Management, who is on the Board of Directors for the Soros-funded Economic Policy Institute. Johnson has complained that government intervention in the fiscal crisis hasn't been enough and wanted "restructuring," including asking "for letters of resignation from the top executives of all the major banks."
Have no doubt about it: This is a Soros event from top to bottom. Even Soros admits his ties to INET are a problem, saying, "there is a conflict there which I fully recognize." He claims he stays out of operations. That's impossible. The whole event is his operation.
INET isn't subtle about its aims for the conference. Johnson interviewed fellow INET board member Robert Skidelsky about "The Need for a New Bretton Woods" in a recent video. The introductory slide to the video is subtitled: "How currency issues and tension between the US and China are renewing calls for a global financial overhaul." Skidelsky called for a new agreement and said in the video that the conflict between the United States and China was "at the center of any monetary deal that may be struck, that needs to be struck."
Soros described in the 2009 op-ed that U.S.-China conflict as "another stark choice between two fundamentally different forms of organization: international capitalism and state capitalism." He concluded that "a new multilateral system based on sounder principles must be invented." As he explained it in 2010, "we need a global sheriff."
In the 2000 version of his book "Open Society: Reforming Global Capitalism," Soros wrote how the Bretton Woods institutions "failed spectacularly" during the economic crisis of the late 1990s. When he called for a new Bretton Woods in 2009, he wanted it to "reconstitute the International Monetary Fund," and while he's at it, restructure the United Nations, too, boosting China and other countries at our expense.
"Reorganizing the world order will need to extend beyond the financial system and involve the United Nations, especially membership of the Security Council,' he wrote. 'That process needs to be initiated by the US, but China and other developing countries ought to participate as equals."
Soros emphasized that point, that this needs to be a global solution, making America one among many. "The rising powers must be present at the creation of this new system in order to ensure that they will be active supporters."
And that's exactly the kind of event INET is delivering, with the event website emphasizing "today's reconstruction must engage the larger European Union, as well as the emerging economies of Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Asia." China figures prominently, including a senior economist for the World Bank in Beijing, the director of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the chief adviser for the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the Director of the Center on U.S.-China Relations.
This is all easy to do when you have the reach of George Soros who funds more than 1,200 organizations. Except, any one of those 1,200 would shout such an event from the highest mountain. Groups like MoveOn.org or the Center for American Progress didn't make their names being quiet. The same holds true globally, where Soros has given more than $7 billion to Open Society Foundations - including many media-savvy organizations just a phone call away. Why hasn't the Soros network spread the word?
Especially since Soros warns, all this needs to happen because "the alternative is frightening." The Bush-hating billionaire says America is scary "because a declining superpower losing both political and economic dominance but still preserving military supremacy is a dangerous mix."
The Soros empire is silent about this new Bretton Woods conference because it isn't just designed to change global economic rules. It also is designed to put America in its place - part of a multilateral world the way Soros wants it. He wrote that the U.S. "could lead a cooperative effort to involve both the developed and the developing world, thereby reestablishing American leadership in an acceptable form."
That's what this conference is all about - changing the global economy and the United States to make them "acceptable" to George Soros.

Deep divisions between allied forces currently bombing Libya worsened today as the German military announced it was pulling forces out of NATO over continued disagreement on who will lead the campaign.
A German military spokesman said it was recalling two frigates and AWACS surveillance plane crews from the Mediterranean, after fears they would be drawn into the conflict if NATO takes over control from the U.S.
The infighting comes as a heated meeting of NATO ambassadors yesterday failed to resolve whether the 28-nation alliance should run the operation to enforce a U.N.-mandated no-fly zone, diplomats said.
Yesterday a war of words erupted between the U.S. and Britain after the U.K. government claimed Muammar Gaddafi is a legitimate target for assassination.
U.K. government officials said killing the Libyan leader would be legal if it prevented civilian deaths as laid out in a U.N. resolution.
But U.S. defence secretary Robert Gates hit back at the suggestion, saying it would be 'unwise' to target the Libyan leader adding cryptically that the bombing campaign should stick to the 'U.N. mandate'.

President Barack Obama, seeking to avoid getting bogged down in a war in another Muslim country, said on Monday Washington would cede control of operations against Muammar Gaddafi's forces within days, handing the reins over to NATO.
But Germany and European allies remain unwilling to have NATO take on a military operation that theoretically has nothing to do with the defence of Europe.
Today the German defence ministry announced Berlin had pulled out of any military operations in the Mediterranean.
A ministry spokesman said two frigates and two other ships with a crew of 550 would be reverted to German command.
Some 60 to 70 German troops participating in NATO-operated AWACS surveillance operations in the Mediterranean would also be withdrawn, according to the ministry.
Berlin isn't participating in the operation to impose a no-fly zone in Libya and abstained on the U.N. resolution authorising it.

France, which launched the initial air strikes on Libya on Saturday, has argued against giving the U.S.-led NATO political control over an operation in an Arab country, while Turkey has called for limits to any alliance involvement.
In a bid to halt the embarrassing bickering, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe today proposed a new war committee to oversee operations.
The new body, Mr Juppe said, would bring together foreign ministers of participating states - such as Britain, France and the U.S. - as well as the Arab League.
Meanwhile the head of the Italian Senate's defence affairs committee, Gianpiero Cantoni, said the original French anti-NATO stance was motivated by a desire to secure oil contracts with a future Libyan government.
Some allies are even questioning whether a no-fly zone is still necessary, given the damage already done by air strikes to Gaddafi's military capabilities.
Speaking about yesterday's hastily arranged meeting of NATO allies, one diplomat said: 'The meeting became a little bit emotional,' before adding that France had argued that the coalition led by Britain, the United States and France should retain political control of the mission, with NATO providing operational support, including command-and-control capabilities.
'Others are saying NATO should have command or no role at all and that it doesn't make sense for NATO to play a subsidiary role,' the diplomat added.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu suggested that air strikes launched after a meeting in Paris hosted by France on Saturday had gone beyond what had been sanctioned by a U.N. Security Council resolution.
'There are U.N. decisions and these decisions clearly have a defined framework. A NATO operation which goes outside this framework cannot be legitimised,' he told news channel CNN Turk.
Adding pressure to the already fractured alliance, Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini has also reiterated a warning that Italy would take back control of airbases it has authorised for use by allies for operations over Libya unless a NATO coordination structure was agreed.
In a shock admission, U.K. ministers have admitted the intervention in Libya could last for up to '30 years'.
Asked for an estimate, British Armed Forces Minister Nick Harvey said: 'How long is a piece of string? We don't know how long this is going to go on.
'We don't know if this is going to result in a stalemate. We don't know if his capabilities are going to be degraded quickly. Ask me again in a week.'
In the U.S., Obama has made it clear he wants no part of any leadership role in Libya.
The President has already been criticised for continuing with a tour of Latin America as the military operation over Libya began. And yesterday he insisted again that while Gaddafi must go, the U.S. is not prepared to remove him by force, but merely to enforce the no-fly zone.

Even that hesitant stance, which has already earned him the title of the Great Vacillator, left him criticised for not seeking proper approval from Congress before sending the American military in.
And after reports emerged that Gaddafi's son had been killed in a kamikaze strike yesterday, fresh questions over what exactly the U.S. intends to achieve in Libya emerged.
With Turkey digging its heels in and the Arab League suspicious, it has been pointed out that Mr Obama has fewer coalition partners in Libya than George Bush did at the start of the Iraq war.
He was criticised by both Republicans and Democrats over his decision to commit the U.S. military before going to Congress.
Representatives Jerrold Nadler of New York, Barbara Lee of California, Michael Capuano of Massachusetts, Senators Richard Lugar of Indiana and Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Representative Roscoe Bartlett of Maryland all complained that Mr Obama had exceeded his constitutional authority by authorizing the attack without Congressional permission.
The President hit back in a two-page letter to Congress and again reiterated his claim that while Gaddafi must go, the U.S. was only in Libya to enforce the no-fly zone for the protection of civilians.
France has already taken a leading role in the conflict, with President Nicolas Sarkozy hosting a summit in Paris over the weekend and French bombers being the first to enforce the no-fly zone.

Last night Britain's top general was embroiled in an extraordinary clash with Downing Street over the legality of a strike to kill Gaddafi.
No 10 slapped down Chief of the Defence Staff General Sir David Richards after he flatly rejected ministers’ suggestions that the Libyan dictator was a legitimate target for assassination.
Downing Street and Foreign Office officials were quick to dispute that – saying assassinating Gaddafi would be legal because it would preserve civilian lives in Libya.

But U.S. Defence Secretary Robert Gates quickly dismissed the suggestion, describing the calls for Gaddafi’s killing ‘unwise’.
Desperately trying to keep the mission on track, he warned that it could undermine the cohesion of the international coalition supporting the no-fly zone.
‘If we start adding additional objectives then I think we create a problem in that respect,’ he said. ‘I also think it is unwise to set as specific goals things that you may or may not be able to achieve.’
Were journalists used as human shields by Gaddafi
A vicious war of words has broken out between TV networks Fox news and CNN.
On Monday a Fox website reported journalists from several news organisations being used as 'human shields' to stop a British air strike on a Gaddafi compound.
The 40 journalists were bused to the site on the invitation of Libyan government officials.
The Fox report said the trip was part of a plan by Gaddafi officials to prevent the planes releasing their bombs.
Nic Robertson, a veteran CNN correspondent who was part of the CNN crew mentioned in the Fox story, called the rival network's report 'outrageous and hypocritical.'
Mr Robertson added that a Fox journalist was part of the trip, a fact left out of the network's web report.
Mr Obama has not directly discussed the military action with British Prime Minister David Cameron since it began on Saturday – an omission that would have been unthinkable under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
The public spat just days into the operation highlighted growing tensions about ‘mission creep’ in the assault on Gaddafi.
Meanwhle, the coalition abandoned a further raid by Tornado bombers when SAS soldiers on the ground warned that civilians and journalists were being used as human shields.
And Russian premier Vladimir Putin provocatively likened the UN-backed mission to the medieval crusades.
On Saturday Gaddafi's son was said to have been killed in a Tomahawk missile strike on the dictator's compound carried out by the British submarine HMS Triumph.
And soon afterwards, it was reduced to rubble by a precision strike from the 1,000lb weapons. The block was about 150 yards from the tents which the Libyan leader uses as his official residence.
It is not known where the dictator was at the time of the bombing but he has not been seen or heard since the attack. He may have fled into the desert. Senior government sources described the hugely symbolic strike at the heart of his regime as a ‘shot across his bows’.
But there was outright condemnation from Russian premier Vladimir Putin, who gave fuel to Muslim critics of the attacks by branding the UN resolution backing the use of force – a resolution on which Russia abstained – a return to the Crusades.
‘The resolution is defective and flawed,’ said Mr Putin. ‘It allows everything. It resembles medieval calls for crusades.’
Amr Moussa, the secretary-general of the Arab League said that while he supports a no-fly zone, ‘the Arab League was against aerial bombing in principle’.
The North Atlantic Council will meet today to thrash out the differences as every Nato country must agree the plans.
Turkish prime minister Tayyip Erdogan called for air strikes to end ‘as soon as possible’.
‘If Nato is going into operation we have some conditions,’ Mr Erdogan said. ‘Nato should go in with the recognition and acknowledgement that Libya belongs to the Libyans, not for the distribution of its underground resources and wealth.’

Deep divisions between allied forces currently bombing Libya worsened today as the German military announced it was pulling forces out of NATO over continued disagreement on who will lead the campaign.
A German military spokesman said it was recalling two frigates and AWACS surveillance plane crews from the Mediterranean, after fears they would be drawn into the conflict if NATO takes over control from the U.S.
The infighting comes as a heated meeting of NATO ambassadors yesterday failed to resolve whether the 28-nation alliance should run the operation to enforce a U.N.-mandated no-fly zone, diplomats said.
Yesterday a war of words erupted between the U.S. and Britain after the U.K. government claimed Muammar Gaddafi is a legitimate target for assassination.
U.K. government officials said killing the Libyan leader would be legal if it prevented civilian deaths as laid out in a U.N. resolution.
But U.S. defence secretary Robert Gates hit back at the suggestion, saying it would be 'unwise' to target the Libyan leader adding cryptically that the bombing campaign should stick to the 'U.N. mandate'.

President Barack Obama, seeking to avoid getting bogged down in a war in another Muslim country, said on Monday Washington would cede control of operations against Muammar Gaddafi's forces within days, handing the reins over to NATO.
But Germany and European allies remain unwilling to have NATO take on a military operation that theoretically has nothing to do with the defence of Europe.
Today the German defence ministry announced Berlin had pulled out of any military operations in the Mediterranean.
A ministry spokesman said two frigates and two other ships with a crew of 550 would be reverted to German command.
Some 60 to 70 German troops participating in NATO-operated AWACS surveillance operations in the Mediterranean would also be withdrawn, according to the ministry.
Berlin isn't participating in the operation to impose a no-fly zone in Libya and abstained on the U.N. resolution authorising it.

France, which launched the initial air strikes on Libya on Saturday, has argued against giving the U.S.-led NATO political control over an operation in an Arab country, while Turkey has called for limits to any alliance involvement.
In a bid to halt the embarrassing bickering, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe today proposed a new war committee to oversee operations.
The new body, Mr Juppe said, would bring together foreign ministers of participating states - such as Britain, France and the U.S. - as well as the Arab League.
Meanwhile the head of the Italian Senate's defence affairs committee, Gianpiero Cantoni, said the original French anti-NATO stance was motivated by a desire to secure oil contracts with a future Libyan government.
Some allies are even questioning whether a no-fly zone is still necessary, given the damage already done by air strikes to Gaddafi's military capabilities.
Speaking about yesterday's hastily arranged meeting of NATO allies, one diplomat said: 'The meeting became a little bit emotional,' before adding that France had argued that the coalition led by Britain, the United States and France should retain political control of the mission, with NATO providing operational support, including command-and-control capabilities.
'Others are saying NATO should have command or no role at all and that it doesn't make sense for NATO to play a subsidiary role,' the diplomat added.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu suggested that air strikes launched after a meeting in Paris hosted by France on Saturday had gone beyond what had been sanctioned by a U.N. Security Council resolution.
'There are U.N. decisions and these decisions clearly have a defined framework. A NATO operation which goes outside this framework cannot be legitimised,' he told news channel CNN Turk.
Adding pressure to the already fractured alliance, Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini has also reiterated a warning that Italy would take back control of airbases it has authorised for use by allies for operations over Libya unless a NATO coordination structure was agreed.
In a shock admission, U.K. ministers have admitted the intervention in Libya could last for up to '30 years'.
Asked for an estimate, British Armed Forces Minister Nick Harvey said: 'How long is a piece of string? We don't know how long this is going to go on.
'We don't know if this is going to result in a stalemate. We don't know if his capabilities are going to be degraded quickly. Ask me again in a week.'
In the U.S., Obama has made it clear he wants no part of any leadership role in Libya.
The President has already been criticised for continuing with a tour of Latin America as the military operation over Libya began. And yesterday he insisted again that while Gaddafi must go, the U.S. is not prepared to remove him by force, but merely to enforce the no-fly zone.

Even that hesitant stance, which has already earned him the title of the Great Vacillator, left him criticised for not seeking proper approval from Congress before sending the American military in.
And after reports emerged that Gaddafi's son had been killed in a kamikaze strike yesterday, fresh questions over what exactly the U.S. intends to achieve in Libya emerged.
With Turkey digging its heels in and the Arab League suspicious, it has been pointed out that Mr Obama has fewer coalition partners in Libya than George Bush did at the start of the Iraq war.
He was criticised by both Republicans and Democrats over his decision to commit the U.S. military before going to Congress.
Representatives Jerrold Nadler of New York, Barbara Lee of California, Michael Capuano of Massachusetts, Senators Richard Lugar of Indiana and Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Representative Roscoe Bartlett of Maryland all complained that Mr Obama had exceeded his constitutional authority by authorizing the attack without Congressional permission.
The President hit back in a two-page letter to Congress and again reiterated his claim that while Gaddafi must go, the U.S. was only in Libya to enforce the no-fly zone for the protection of civilians.
France has already taken a leading role in the conflict, with President Nicolas Sarkozy hosting a summit in Paris over the weekend and French bombers being the first to enforce the no-fly zone.

Last night Britain's top general was embroiled in an extraordinary clash with Downing Street over the legality of a strike to kill Gaddafi.
No 10 slapped down Chief of the Defence Staff General Sir David Richards after he flatly rejected ministers’ suggestions that the Libyan dictator was a legitimate target for assassination.
Downing Street and Foreign Office officials were quick to dispute that – saying assassinating Gaddafi would be legal because it would preserve civilian lives in Libya.

But U.S. Defence Secretary Robert Gates quickly dismissed the suggestion, describing the calls for Gaddafi’s killing ‘unwise’.
Desperately trying to keep the mission on track, he warned that it could undermine the cohesion of the international coalition supporting the no-fly zone.
‘If we start adding additional objectives then I think we create a problem in that respect,’ he said. ‘I also think it is unwise to set as specific goals things that you may or may not be able to achieve.’
Were journalists used as human shields by Gaddafi
A vicious war of words has broken out between TV networks Fox news and CNN.
On Monday a Fox website reported journalists from several news organisations being used as 'human shields' to stop a British air strike on a Gaddafi compound.
The 40 journalists were bused to the site on the invitation of Libyan government officials.
The Fox report said the trip was part of a plan by Gaddafi officials to prevent the planes releasing their bombs.
Nic Robertson, a veteran CNN correspondent who was part of the CNN crew mentioned in the Fox story, called the rival network's report 'outrageous and hypocritical.'
Mr Robertson added that a Fox journalist was part of the trip, a fact left out of the network's web report.
Mr Obama has not directly discussed the military action with British Prime Minister David Cameron since it began on Saturday – an omission that would have been unthinkable under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
The public spat just days into the operation highlighted growing tensions about ‘mission creep’ in the assault on Gaddafi.
Meanwhle, the coalition abandoned a further raid by Tornado bombers when SAS soldiers on the ground warned that civilians and journalists were being used as human shields.
And Russian premier Vladimir Putin provocatively likened the UN-backed mission to the medieval crusades.
On Saturday Gaddafi's son was said to have been killed in a Tomahawk missile strike on the dictator's compound carried out by the British submarine HMS Triumph.
And soon afterwards, it was reduced to rubble by a precision strike from the 1,000lb weapons. The block was about 150 yards from the tents which the Libyan leader uses as his official residence.
It is not known where the dictator was at the time of the bombing but he has not been seen or heard since the attack. He may have fled into the desert. Senior government sources described the hugely symbolic strike at the heart of his regime as a ‘shot across his bows’.
But there was outright condemnation from Russian premier Vladimir Putin, who gave fuel to Muslim critics of the attacks by branding the UN resolution backing the use of force – a resolution on which Russia abstained – a return to the Crusades.
‘The resolution is defective and flawed,’ said Mr Putin. ‘It allows everything. It resembles medieval calls for crusades.’
Amr Moussa, the secretary-general of the Arab League said that while he supports a no-fly zone, ‘the Arab League was against aerial bombing in principle’.
The North Atlantic Council will meet today to thrash out the differences as every Nato country must agree the plans.
Turkish prime minister Tayyip Erdogan called for air strikes to end ‘as soon as possible’.
‘If Nato is going into operation we have some conditions,’ Mr Erdogan said. ‘Nato should go in with the recognition and acknowledgement that Libya belongs to the Libyans, not for the distribution of its underground resources and wealth.’

Libya's Terrorism Option

On March 19, military forces from the United States, France and Great Britain began to enforce U.N. Security Council Resolution 1973, which called for the establishment of a no-fly zone over Libya and authorized the countries involved in enforcing the zone to “take all necessary measures” to protect civilians and “civilian-populated areas under threat of attack.” Obviously, such military operations cannot be imposed against the will of a hostile nation without first removing the country’s ability to interfere with the no-fly zone — and removing this ability to resist requires strikes against military command-and-control centers, surface-to-air missile installations and military airfields. This means that the no-fly zone not only was a defensive measure to protect the rebels — it also required an attack upon the government of Libya.
Certainly, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has no doubt that the U.S. and European military operations against the Libyan military targets are attacks against his regime. He has specifically warned France and the United Kingdom that they would come to regret the intervention. Now, such threats could be construed to mean that should Gadhafi survive, he will seek to cut off the countries’ access to Libyan energy resources in the future. However, given Libya’s past use of terrorist strikes to lash out when attacked by Western powers, Gadhafi’s threats certainly raise the possibility that, desperate and hurting, he will once again return to terrorism as a means to seek retribution for the attacks against his regime. While threats of sanctions and retaliation have tempered Gadhafi’s use of terrorism in recent years, his fear may evaporate if he comes to believe he has nothing to lose.
History of Libyan Reactions
Throughout the early 1980s, the U.S. Navy contested Libya’s claim to the Gulf of Sidra and said the gulf was international water. This resulted in several minor skirmishes, such as the incident in August 1981 when U.S. Navy fighters downed two Libyan aircraft. Perhaps the most costly of these skirmishes for Libya occurred in March 1986, when a U.S. task force sank two Libyan ships and attacked a number of Libyan surface-to-air missile sites that had launched missiles at U.S. warplanes.
The Libyans were enraged by the 1986 incident, but as the incident highlighted, they lacked the means to respond militarily due to the overwhelming superiority of U.S. forces. This prompted the Libyans to employ other means to seek revenge. Gadhafi had long seen himself as the successor to Gamal Abdel Nasser as the leader of Arab nationalism and sought to assert himself in a number of ways. Lacking the population and military of Egypt, or the finances of Saudi Arabia, he began to use terrorism and the support of terrorist groups as a way to undermine his rivals for power in the Arab world. Later, when he had been soundly rejected by the Arab world, he began to turn his attention to Africa, where he employed these same tools. They could also be used against what Gadhafi viewed as imperial powers.
On April 2, 1986, a bomb tore a hole in the side of TWA Flight 840 as it was flying from Rome to Athens. The explosion killed four American passengers and injured several others. The attack was claimed by the Arab Revolutionary Cells but is believed to have been carried out by the Abu Nidal Organization (ANO), one of the Marxist terrorist groups heavily sponsored by Libya.
On the evening of April 5, 1986, a bomb detonated in the La Belle disco in Berlin. Two U.S. soldiers and one civilian were killed in the blast and some 200 others were injured. Communications between Tripoli and the Libyan People’s Bureau (its embassy) in East Berlin were intercepted by the United States, which, armed with this smoking gun tying Libya to the La Belle attack, launched a retaliatory attack on Libya the night of April 15, 1986, that included a strike against Gadhafi’s residential compound and military headquarters at Bab Al Azizia, south of Tripoli. The strike narrowly missed killing Gadhafi, who had been warned of the impending attack. The warning was reportedly provided by either a Maltese or Italian politician, depending on which version of the story one hears.
The Libyan government later claimed that the attack killed Gadhafi’s young daughter, but this was pure propaganda. It did, however, anger and humiliate Gadhafi, though he lacked the ability to respond militarily. In the wake of the attack on his compound, Gadhafi feared additional reprisals and began to exercise his terrorist hand far more carefully and in a manner to provide at least some degree of deniability. One way he did this was by using proxy groups to conduct his strikes, such as the ANO and the Japanese Red Army (JRA). It did not take Gadhafi’s forces long to respond. On the very night of the April 15 U.S. attack, U.S. Embassy communications officer William Calkins was shot and critically wounded in Khartoum, Sudan, by a Libyan revolutionary surrogates in Sudan. On April 25, Arthur Pollock, a communicator at the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa, was also shot and seriously wounded by an ANO gunman.
In May 1986, the JRA attacked the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, with an improvised mortar that caused little damage, and the JRA conducted similar ineffective attacks against the U.S. Embassy in Madrid in February and April of 1987. In June 1987, JRA operatives attacked the U.S. Embassy in Rome using vehicle-borne improvised explosive device and an improvised mortar. In April 1988, the group attacked the USO club in Naples. JRA bombmaker Yu Kikumura was arrested on the New Jersey Turnpike in April 1988 while en route to New York City to conduct a bombing attack there. The use of ANO and JRA surrogates provided Gadhafi with some plausible deniability for these attacks, but there is little doubt that he was behind them. Then on Dec. 21, 1988, Libyan agents operating in Malta succeeded in placing a bomb aboard Pan Am Flight 103, which was destroyed in the air over Scotland. All 259 passengers and crew members aboard that flight died, as did 11 residents of Lockerbie, Scotland, the town where the remnants of the Boeing 747 jumbo jet fell. Had the jet exploded over the North Atlantic as intended instead of over Scotland, the evidence that implicated Libya in the attack most likely never would have been found.
But the United States has not been the only target of Libyan terrorism. While the Libyans were busy claiming the Gulf of Sidra during the 1980s, they were also quite involved in propagating a number of coups and civil wars in Africa. One civil war in which they became quite involved was in neighboring Chad. During their military intervention there, the Libyans suffered heavy losses and eventually defeat due to French intervention on the side of the Chadian government. Not having the military might to respond to France militarily, Gadhafi once again chose the veiled terrorist hand. On Sept. 19, 1989, UTA Flight 772 exploded shortly after taking off from N’Djamena, Chad, en route to Paris. All 156 passengers and 14 crew members were killed by the explosion. The French government investigation into the crash found that the aircraft went down as a result of a bombing and that the bomb had been placed aboard the aircraft in Brazzaville, the Republic of the Congo, by Congolese rebels working with the Libyan People’s Bureau there. Six Libyans were tried in absentia and convicted for their part in the attack.
The Current Situation
Today Libya finds itself once again being attacked by an opponent with an overwhelmingly powerful military that Gadhafi’s forces cannot stand up to. While Gadhafi did take responsibility for some of Libya’s past terrorist attacks and publicly renounced terrorism in 2003, this step was a purely pragmatic move on his part. It was not the result of some ideological epiphany that suddenly caused Gadhafi to become a kinder and gentler guy. From the late 1980s to the renunciation of terrorism in 2003, Gadhafi retained the capability to continue using terrorism as a foreign policy tool but simply chose not to. And this capability remains in his tool box.
Unlike his views of past crises, Gadhafi sees the current attacks against him as being far more dangerous to the survival of his regime than the Gulf of Sidra skirmishes or the French military operations in Chad. Gadhafi has always been quite cold and calculating. He has not hesitated to use violence against those who have affronted him, even his own people. Now he is cornered and fearful for his very survival. Because of this, there is a very real possibility that the Libyans will employ terrorism against the members of the coalition now implementing and enforcing the no-fly zone.
Gadhafi has a long history of using diplomatic staff, which the Libyans refer to as “revolutionary committees,” to conduct all sorts of skullduggery, from planning terrorist attacks to fomenting coups. Indeed, these diplomats have often served as agents for spreading Gadhafi’s revolutionary principles elsewhere. Because of this history, coalition members will almost certainly be carefully monitoring the activities of Libyan diplomats within their countries — and elsewhere.
As illustrated by most of the above-mentioned terrorist attacks launched or commissioned by the Libyans, they have frequently conducted attacks against their targeted country in a third country. This process of monitoring Libyan diplomats will be greatly aided by the defection of a large number of diplomats in a variety of countries who undoubtedly have been thoroughly debriefed by security agencies looking for any hints that Gadhafi is looking to resume his practice of terrorism. These defectors will also prove helpful in identifying intelligence officers still loyal to Gadhafi and perhaps even in locating Libyan intelligence officers working under non-official cover.
But diplomats are not the only source Gadhafi can tap for assistance. As noted above, Gadhafi has a long history of using proxies to conduct terrorist attacks. Using a proxy provides Gadhafi with the plausible deniability he requires to continue to spin his story to the world that he is an innocent victim of senseless aggression. Perhaps more important, hiding his hand can also help prevent reprisal attacks. While most of the 1980s-era Marxist proxy groups the Libyans worked with are defunct, Gadhafi does have other options.
One option is to reach out to regional jihadist groups such as al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), while another is to cultivate already improving relationships with jihadists groups in Libya such as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG). Indeed, Gadhafi has released hundreds of LFIG members from prison, a process that continued even after the unrest began in February. It is doubtful that the LIFG really feels any affinity for Gadhafi — the group launched an insurgency against his regime in the mid-1990s and actually tried to assassinate him — but it could be used to funnel funds and weapons to regional groups like AQIM. Such groups certainly have no love for the French, Americans or British and might be willing to conduct attacks against their interests in exchange for weapons and funding from Libya. AQIM is desperate for resources and has been involved in kidnapping for ransom and drug smuggling to raise funds to continue its struggle. This need might help it overcome its disdain for Gadhafi.
In the long run groups like AQIM and LIFG certainly would pose a threat to Gadhafi, but facing the very real existential threat from the overwhelming military force now being arrayed against him, Gadhafi may view the jihadist threat as far less pressing and severe.
Other potential agents for Libyan terrorist attacks are the various African rebel and revolutionary groups Gadhafi has maintained contact with and even supported over the years. Many of the mercenaries that have reportedly fought on the side of the Libyan loyalist forces have come from such groups. It is not out of the realm of possibility that Gadhafi could call upon such allies to attack French, British, Italian or American interests in his allies’ respective countries. Such actors would have ready access to weapons (likely furnished by Libya to begin with), and the capabilities of host-country security services are quite limited in many African states. This would make them ideal places to conduct terrorist attacks. However, due to the limited capabilities exhibited by such groups, they would likely require direct Libyan oversight and guidance (the kind of direct Libyan guidance for African rebels demonstrated in the UTA Flight 772 bombing) if they were to conduct attacks against hardened targets in Africa such as foreign embassies.
Also, as seen in the wake of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula’s Christmas Day bomb plot in 2009, which originated in Ghana, passenger and cargo screening at African airports is not as stringent as it is elsewhere. When combined with Libya’s history of attacking aircraft, and placing bombs aboard foreign aircraft in third countries, the possibility of such an attack must surely be of grave concern for Western security officials.
Terrorism, however, has its limitations, as shown by Gadhafi’s activities in the 1980s. While the Libyans were able to launch several successful terrorist strikes, kill hundreds of people and traumatize many more through terror multipliers like the media, they were not able to cause any sort of lasting impact on the foreign policies of the United States or France. The attacks only served to harden the resolve of those countries to impose their will on Gadhafi, and he eventually capitulated and renounced terrorism. Those Libyan-sponsored attacks in the 1980s are also an important factor governing the way the world views Gadhafi — and today they may be playing a large part in the decision made by countries like France that Gadhafi must go. Of course, it is also this attitude — that Gadhafi must be forced out — that could lead him to believe he has nothing to lose by playing the terrorism card once again.

Libya's Terrorism Option

On March 19, military forces from the United States, France and Great Britain began to enforce U.N. Security Council Resolution 1973, which called for the establishment of a no-fly zone over Libya and authorized the countries involved in enforcing the zone to “take all necessary measures” to protect civilians and “civilian-populated areas under threat of attack.” Obviously, such military operations cannot be imposed against the will of a hostile nation without first removing the country’s ability to interfere with the no-fly zone — and removing this ability to resist requires strikes against military command-and-control centers, surface-to-air missile installations and military airfields. This means that the no-fly zone not only was a defensive measure to protect the rebels — it also required an attack upon the government of Libya.
Certainly, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has no doubt that the U.S. and European military operations against the Libyan military targets are attacks against his regime. He has specifically warned France and the United Kingdom that they would come to regret the intervention. Now, such threats could be construed to mean that should Gadhafi survive, he will seek to cut off the countries’ access to Libyan energy resources in the future. However, given Libya’s past use of terrorist strikes to lash out when attacked by Western powers, Gadhafi’s threats certainly raise the possibility that, desperate and hurting, he will once again return to terrorism as a means to seek retribution for the attacks against his regime. While threats of sanctions and retaliation have tempered Gadhafi’s use of terrorism in recent years, his fear may evaporate if he comes to believe he has nothing to lose.
History of Libyan Reactions
Throughout the early 1980s, the U.S. Navy contested Libya’s claim to the Gulf of Sidra and said the gulf was international water. This resulted in several minor skirmishes, such as the incident in August 1981 when U.S. Navy fighters downed two Libyan aircraft. Perhaps the most costly of these skirmishes for Libya occurred in March 1986, when a U.S. task force sank two Libyan ships and attacked a number of Libyan surface-to-air missile sites that had launched missiles at U.S. warplanes.
The Libyans were enraged by the 1986 incident, but as the incident highlighted, they lacked the means to respond militarily due to the overwhelming superiority of U.S. forces. This prompted the Libyans to employ other means to seek revenge. Gadhafi had long seen himself as the successor to Gamal Abdel Nasser as the leader of Arab nationalism and sought to assert himself in a number of ways. Lacking the population and military of Egypt, or the finances of Saudi Arabia, he began to use terrorism and the support of terrorist groups as a way to undermine his rivals for power in the Arab world. Later, when he had been soundly rejected by the Arab world, he began to turn his attention to Africa, where he employed these same tools. They could also be used against what Gadhafi viewed as imperial powers.
On April 2, 1986, a bomb tore a hole in the side of TWA Flight 840 as it was flying from Rome to Athens. The explosion killed four American passengers and injured several others. The attack was claimed by the Arab Revolutionary Cells but is believed to have been carried out by the Abu Nidal Organization (ANO), one of the Marxist terrorist groups heavily sponsored by Libya.
On the evening of April 5, 1986, a bomb detonated in the La Belle disco in Berlin. Two U.S. soldiers and one civilian were killed in the blast and some 200 others were injured. Communications between Tripoli and the Libyan People’s Bureau (its embassy) in East Berlin were intercepted by the United States, which, armed with this smoking gun tying Libya to the La Belle attack, launched a retaliatory attack on Libya the night of April 15, 1986, that included a strike against Gadhafi’s residential compound and military headquarters at Bab Al Azizia, south of Tripoli. The strike narrowly missed killing Gadhafi, who had been warned of the impending attack. The warning was reportedly provided by either a Maltese or Italian politician, depending on which version of the story one hears.
The Libyan government later claimed that the attack killed Gadhafi’s young daughter, but this was pure propaganda. It did, however, anger and humiliate Gadhafi, though he lacked the ability to respond militarily. In the wake of the attack on his compound, Gadhafi feared additional reprisals and began to exercise his terrorist hand far more carefully and in a manner to provide at least some degree of deniability. One way he did this was by using proxy groups to conduct his strikes, such as the ANO and the Japanese Red Army (JRA). It did not take Gadhafi’s forces long to respond. On the very night of the April 15 U.S. attack, U.S. Embassy communications officer William Calkins was shot and critically wounded in Khartoum, Sudan, by a Libyan revolutionary surrogates in Sudan. On April 25, Arthur Pollock, a communicator at the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa, was also shot and seriously wounded by an ANO gunman.
In May 1986, the JRA attacked the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, with an improvised mortar that caused little damage, and the JRA conducted similar ineffective attacks against the U.S. Embassy in Madrid in February and April of 1987. In June 1987, JRA operatives attacked the U.S. Embassy in Rome using vehicle-borne improvised explosive device and an improvised mortar. In April 1988, the group attacked the USO club in Naples. JRA bombmaker Yu Kikumura was arrested on the New Jersey Turnpike in April 1988 while en route to New York City to conduct a bombing attack there. The use of ANO and JRA surrogates provided Gadhafi with some plausible deniability for these attacks, but there is little doubt that he was behind them. Then on Dec. 21, 1988, Libyan agents operating in Malta succeeded in placing a bomb aboard Pan Am Flight 103, which was destroyed in the air over Scotland. All 259 passengers and crew members aboard that flight died, as did 11 residents of Lockerbie, Scotland, the town where the remnants of the Boeing 747 jumbo jet fell. Had the jet exploded over the North Atlantic as intended instead of over Scotland, the evidence that implicated Libya in the attack most likely never would have been found.
But the United States has not been the only target of Libyan terrorism. While the Libyans were busy claiming the Gulf of Sidra during the 1980s, they were also quite involved in propagating a number of coups and civil wars in Africa. One civil war in which they became quite involved was in neighboring Chad. During their military intervention there, the Libyans suffered heavy losses and eventually defeat due to French intervention on the side of the Chadian government. Not having the military might to respond to France militarily, Gadhafi once again chose the veiled terrorist hand. On Sept. 19, 1989, UTA Flight 772 exploded shortly after taking off from N’Djamena, Chad, en route to Paris. All 156 passengers and 14 crew members were killed by the explosion. The French government investigation into the crash found that the aircraft went down as a result of a bombing and that the bomb had been placed aboard the aircraft in Brazzaville, the Republic of the Congo, by Congolese rebels working with the Libyan People’s Bureau there. Six Libyans were tried in absentia and convicted for their part in the attack.
The Current Situation
Today Libya finds itself once again being attacked by an opponent with an overwhelmingly powerful military that Gadhafi’s forces cannot stand up to. While Gadhafi did take responsibility for some of Libya’s past terrorist attacks and publicly renounced terrorism in 2003, this step was a purely pragmatic move on his part. It was not the result of some ideological epiphany that suddenly caused Gadhafi to become a kinder and gentler guy. From the late 1980s to the renunciation of terrorism in 2003, Gadhafi retained the capability to continue using terrorism as a foreign policy tool but simply chose not to. And this capability remains in his tool box.
Unlike his views of past crises, Gadhafi sees the current attacks against him as being far more dangerous to the survival of his regime than the Gulf of Sidra skirmishes or the French military operations in Chad. Gadhafi has always been quite cold and calculating. He has not hesitated to use violence against those who have affronted him, even his own people. Now he is cornered and fearful for his very survival. Because of this, there is a very real possibility that the Libyans will employ terrorism against the members of the coalition now implementing and enforcing the no-fly zone.
Gadhafi has a long history of using diplomatic staff, which the Libyans refer to as “revolutionary committees,” to conduct all sorts of skullduggery, from planning terrorist attacks to fomenting coups. Indeed, these diplomats have often served as agents for spreading Gadhafi’s revolutionary principles elsewhere. Because of this history, coalition members will almost certainly be carefully monitoring the activities of Libyan diplomats within their countries — and elsewhere.
As illustrated by most of the above-mentioned terrorist attacks launched or commissioned by the Libyans, they have frequently conducted attacks against their targeted country in a third country. This process of monitoring Libyan diplomats will be greatly aided by the defection of a large number of diplomats in a variety of countries who undoubtedly have been thoroughly debriefed by security agencies looking for any hints that Gadhafi is looking to resume his practice of terrorism. These defectors will also prove helpful in identifying intelligence officers still loyal to Gadhafi and perhaps even in locating Libyan intelligence officers working under non-official cover.
But diplomats are not the only source Gadhafi can tap for assistance. As noted above, Gadhafi has a long history of using proxies to conduct terrorist attacks. Using a proxy provides Gadhafi with the plausible deniability he requires to continue to spin his story to the world that he is an innocent victim of senseless aggression. Perhaps more important, hiding his hand can also help prevent reprisal attacks. While most of the 1980s-era Marxist proxy groups the Libyans worked with are defunct, Gadhafi does have other options.
One option is to reach out to regional jihadist groups such as al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), while another is to cultivate already improving relationships with jihadists groups in Libya such as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG). Indeed, Gadhafi has released hundreds of LFIG members from prison, a process that continued even after the unrest began in February. It is doubtful that the LIFG really feels any affinity for Gadhafi — the group launched an insurgency against his regime in the mid-1990s and actually tried to assassinate him — but it could be used to funnel funds and weapons to regional groups like AQIM. Such groups certainly have no love for the French, Americans or British and might be willing to conduct attacks against their interests in exchange for weapons and funding from Libya. AQIM is desperate for resources and has been involved in kidnapping for ransom and drug smuggling to raise funds to continue its struggle. This need might help it overcome its disdain for Gadhafi.
In the long run groups like AQIM and LIFG certainly would pose a threat to Gadhafi, but facing the very real existential threat from the overwhelming military force now being arrayed against him, Gadhafi may view the jihadist threat as far less pressing and severe.
Other potential agents for Libyan terrorist attacks are the various African rebel and revolutionary groups Gadhafi has maintained contact with and even supported over the years. Many of the mercenaries that have reportedly fought on the side of the Libyan loyalist forces have come from such groups. It is not out of the realm of possibility that Gadhafi could call upon such allies to attack French, British, Italian or American interests in his allies’ respective countries. Such actors would have ready access to weapons (likely furnished by Libya to begin with), and the capabilities of host-country security services are quite limited in many African states. This would make them ideal places to conduct terrorist attacks. However, due to the limited capabilities exhibited by such groups, they would likely require direct Libyan oversight and guidance (the kind of direct Libyan guidance for African rebels demonstrated in the UTA Flight 772 bombing) if they were to conduct attacks against hardened targets in Africa such as foreign embassies.
Also, as seen in the wake of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula’s Christmas Day bomb plot in 2009, which originated in Ghana, passenger and cargo screening at African airports is not as stringent as it is elsewhere. When combined with Libya’s history of attacking aircraft, and placing bombs aboard foreign aircraft in third countries, the possibility of such an attack must surely be of grave concern for Western security officials.
Terrorism, however, has its limitations, as shown by Gadhafi’s activities in the 1980s. While the Libyans were able to launch several successful terrorist strikes, kill hundreds of people and traumatize many more through terror multipliers like the media, they were not able to cause any sort of lasting impact on the foreign policies of the United States or France. The attacks only served to harden the resolve of those countries to impose their will on Gadhafi, and he eventually capitulated and renounced terrorism. Those Libyan-sponsored attacks in the 1980s are also an important factor governing the way the world views Gadhafi — and today they may be playing a large part in the decision made by countries like France that Gadhafi must go. The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. France's President Sarkozy Pushes Allies to Attack Libya
France's President Nicholas Sarkozy called world leaders to an emergency war council at the Elysee presidential palace in Paris to push allies to agree on military action against Muammar Gaddafi on March 20, 2011. President Sarkozy is reported to have led the intervention claiming France would attack alone if necessary. His 20 guests had barely reached an agreement when Sarkozy announced that French planes were already in the air preparing to strike. The French aircraft were the first to attack Libya in the Operation called Odyssey Dawn.
France, US and Britain have pounded Libya with Tomahawk missiles and air strikes, sparking fury from Muammar Gaddafi who declared the Mediterranean to be a "battlefield". The coalition that includes 28 countries backed by the United Nations is carrying out a no fly zone by destroying key military capabilities of Libya. There is now a clear multiple nation effort to support the rebel movement in a civil war to unseat Moammar Gadhafi who has ruled Libya for 40 years and killed thousands of people. French and British commandos were moved into Benghazi the key stronghold of the Libyan rebels, to control the allied airstrikes that realistically saved Benghazi.
Libya's air defense infrastructure is "quite substantial," said US Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. "They have a lot of Russian equipment, and there is a certain quality in numbers," Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has an army of 76,000 soldiers and 40,000 paramilitary troops. He also has 374 fighter aircraft (mostly MIG 25 and 23s), 650 tanks, 2,300 artillery pieces and more than 100 helicopters.
The Libyans have about 31 or so major surface-to-air missile sites and a radar complex focused on protecting the coastline. They also have "a large number" of man-portable surface-to-air missiles. Although some of this equipment has fallen into the hands of forces opposing Muammar Gadafi's rule.
In Cairo, the Arab League on Monday reaffirmed its support for Operation Odyssey Dawn after the previous day saying the air strikes led by the United States, France and Britain went beyond the scope of a UN resolution to implement a no-fly zone.
The US Air Force has identified units that participated in the attacks against Libyan military targets in the opening salvos of Operation Odyssey Dawn this past weekend. In addition to B-2 stealth bombers from the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman AFB, Mo., the Air Force sent F-15Es from the 492nd Fighter Squadron and 494th FS at RAF Lakenheath, Britain, as well as F-16CJs from the 480th FS at Spangdahlem AB, Germany. The B-2s struck combat aircraft shelters at Ghardabiya Airfield in Libya, and, based on post-strike photos that the Pentagon displayed, precisely hit them. The F-15Es and F-16CJs attacked ground forces loyal to Libyan ruler Muammar Gadhafi that were advancing on opposition forces in Benghazi and threatening civilians.
KC-135s of the 100th Air Refueling Wing at RAF Mildenhall, Britain, refueled the strike aircraft en route to an unnamed forward air base.
A U.S. F-15 fighter jet was shot down in southeast of Benghazi.
Moammar Gadhafi has a history of ordering strikes against civilians and could resort to using weapons of mass destruction in acts of terrorism against Western targets or his own people. He has extensive stockpiles of mustard gas and high explosives at his disposal that could be employed in attacks against targets in Europe or against rebels in Libya.
Unconfirmed reports affiliated with the Libyan opposition reported Monday that the son of Muammar Gaddafi, Khamis Gaddafi, was killed in a suicide attack on the Bab al-Azizia barracks in Tripoli. According to the reports, which were denied by the Libyan government, on Saturday a Libyan Air Force pilot deliberately crashed his jet into the Gaddafi family compound. Khamis was rushed to the intensive care unit of a Tripoli hospital, where he reportedly died from his wounds a few hours later, the reports said.
UFO Sightings Over Japan Were Predicted in Secret British Files?
Confirmed reports of UFOs "hovering" and thousands of "flashing lights" over the epicenter of Friday's main earthquake in Japan -- located off Miyagi Prefecture, about 230 miles northeast of Tokyo -- and UFO's spotted near Osaka and Yokohama, are predicted in the recent British government release of 8,500 pages of secret UFO reports that point to 60 years of UFO sightings "during times of world crisis."

Sukurajima Volcano -- Michael Cohen writes, "The destruction and loss of life that has occurred in Japan over the last few days has shocked people across the globe, many being forced to re-evaluate their very belief systems. UFO activity preceding the tragedy was intense and inarguable and UFOs continue to be both sighted and recorded in the aftermath of the earthquake and subsequent tsunami. The connection between UFOs and earthquake activity has been noted for decades now. Researchers such as Professor Michael Persinger and author Pat Regan have written and lectured on the topic extensively. Now as the threat of increased volcanic activity looms over Japan, one or possibly two UFOs have been seen and filmed near the active Sukurajima Volcano on Kyushu Island.
One orb type UFO, seen in the above left hand corner of the video has been compared to the UFO seen recently over Jerusalem. Another possible UFO is seen emerging from the volcano. Some researchers suggest aliens arrive to warn humanity of impending disaster or intervene to lessen the extent of damage. MidWest Nuclear Power Plants Vulnerable to Earthquakes
The red dots indicate earthquakes since 1974, in the Midwest and on the right are Mid West Nuclear Power Plants. These power plants may be particularly vulnerable to a severe earthquake. Generally, engineers will decide what is the most likely severity of earthquakes and plan for that severity. However, more severe earthquakes are more likely now than previously planned due to the recent severe shifting of the Earth's plates. The backup cooling systems in Japan failed and here in the US there appears to be a similar vulnerability. Tests should be made at all sites assuming power has been shut off and an emergency earthquake is taking place. The safety of millions of people is at stake. Pass or fail information should be revealed to the public. Workers in Japan are trying to prevent a nuclear meltdown by cooling overheating reactors damaged by Friday's earthquake and tsunami. Missouri's Callaway Nuclear Plant is considered safe because it's a "pressurized water reactor", not a "boiling water reactor" like the one in Japan.
Ancient gods Advanced Scientific Knowledge

Ancient cultures such as Egypt, regarded their gods with fear and reverence It appears that these ancient god like beings possessed advanced scientific knowledge in the areas of medicine, agriculture, weaponry, warfare, civilization, mathematics, chemistry, and architecture amongst others. Were the gods merely "us as an ancient race of scientifically advanced humans? Were we long ago destroyed many times over and remembered collectively as Atlantis? Or, are edifices such as the Great Pyramid and Sphinx of Giza the vestiges of divine godly geometry that was brought and taught to an emerging civilization on planet earth?
These gods were described as having many images with even the ability to shape shift. We are reminded of the Greek god Zeus, who was able to take the form of whatever he chose. The gods were characterized as: angels, animals, felines, dogs, reptiles, birds, feathers, or plumed serpents. Throughout many cultures of antiquity, we find graven statues and temples dedicated to these gods. Do their names depict from where they originated or does it depict their personality characteristics?
For example, are the reptilian gods we read about from the constellation of Draco? Theban (Alpha Draconis) is the brightest star in the constellation Draco. It is located in the dragon's tail. Theban means "dragon or serpent" in Arabic. In Western culture serpents generally have a negative connotation; usually suggesting deception or slyness. In other ancient cultures such as Egypt, the snake was highly venerated.
The Jewish Haggadah describes upright and walking reptilian beings. The Greek Septuagint uses the word "drakon instead of the typical more modern Biblical translation of the word "serpent. Possible Space Craft Images
Hundreds of city sized cubes not camera blemishes have been imaged in space. On one of the cubes I found what looks like a flying saucer, you can see an intake port on top of it. It also looks like some of the cubes have big windows, and lots of blue ionized lighting. Some cubes have pipes with elbows. It is my belief that most of the UFOs sighted come from these cubes. HARRINGTON -- The Seattle Weekly reports, "On a bitterly cold mid-January afternoon on the outskirts of Harrington, Washington a wheat-farming hamlet 50 miles west of Spokane, grain silos sprout on the edges of a snow-bleached horizon. It is home to bobcats, coyotes, and a massive underground nuclear bunker, where once, in its enormous cement-encased womb, a 3.75-megaton intercontinental ballistic missile was pointed straight at the Soviet Union.
This week's cover story is about Peter Davenport, the director of the National UFO Reporting Center , an independently operated 24-hour hotline for UFO sightings that he's run in Washington since 1994. Davenport worked as a Russian translator for the Army, a commercial fisherman, and at the helm of a Seattle-area biotech firm, a company which provided him with a small fortune.

He's also the owner of a sweet bachelor pad: an abandoned missile bunker he bought when he moved to tiny Harrington, Wash., 50 miles west of Spokane. A few weeks ago, photographer Jenn Ireland and contributing writer Ellis Conklin went to Harrington to visit Davenport. Conklin returned with this story , Ireland with a handful of great photos, some of which didn't make it into print.
The unholy shrine to the Cold War now belongs to Peter Davenport, a nationally prominent investigator of unidentified flying objects. Over the past decade and a half, Davenport has almost single-handedly put Washington State on the map as a hotbed of UFO research.
The UFO Reporting Center is known worldwide among UFO enthusiasts, as it is among law-enforcement agencies and 911 emergency dispatch centers. A one-man operation, Davenport, 63, who never married nor had children, works almost every day, "from wake-up to lights-out," and fully funds the hotline out of his own pocket—costs which can range from $500 to $5,000 a month, depending on how much he travels.
The small fortune he made selling his stock in BioSyn, a Seattle-area biotech company he helped create in 1983, has enabled Davenport to indulge his compulsive preoccupation with the specter of alien life. In 1994, Robert Gribble, a retired Seattle firefighter who'd run the nonprofit UFO Center for two decades, called Davenport and said it was time to pass the torch. Davenport, whose passion for UFOs germinated after witnessing an unfathomable jumble of lights as a young boy growing up in the northerly suburbs of St. Louis, agreed without hesitation.
Known for his deep interest in science and his encyclopedic memory in recounting dates, times, locations, and even the most arcane details of a sighting, Davenport is highly respected among peers. "He has an excellent reputation. He's top-flight and extremely intelligent," declares Clifford Clift, international director of the 5,000-member Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world's largest UFO organization, based in Greeley, Colorado.

Alaska Large Saucer
Wasilla -- Nathan Jensen Wasilla called and reported, "A very large saucer craft moved across the sky past the moon that cloaked out and disappeared at 10 pm. I have had ufo reports come in from Wasilla many times, like Seward I've heard it's a hot bed, for ufo activity. I went there, on March 3rd, 2011, a very clear night and observed fast moving craft at high altitude that stopped in mid flight and hovered for about a minute. There were too far away to get a good view but clearly it was not a plane or helicopter. Wasilla sets back in a mountain range like bowel, that makes good viewing. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Arizona Orb
Golden Valley -- My wife and I were on Highway 68 coming home from work, when we had vehicle trouble and pulled over and called for tow service. While waiting we saw the amber light traveling silently across the sky until dimming to a dull grey and then disappearing.
I would judge this object as traveling below any aircraft flight paths.
If you watch very carefully you will notice their movement is not in a straight path but in a jittery, wobbly type of motion. I managed to take some pictures with my phone but image quality is not the great. Thanks to MUFON CMS
California Dome Shaped Object
Wildomar -- On March 17, 2011, my friend's mom, Debbie Harman, and I were walking, when I spotted a bright orange light floating in the sky. I pointed it out but she thought it was a helicopter. We got in her car and drove up Prelipp Road and it was hovering over an open grass field as we parked. I
got out to take a picture of a hovering dome shaped object with a really bright orange light on the bottom of the craft. Static was shooting from the bottom, and it was dropping what looked like little charcoal grey boxes into the field. Then it floated away without sound and we followed but the object was nowhere to be found. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Florida Shuttle Launch and Triangle
CAPE CANAVERAL -- This was caught on camera on February 24, 2011and was found later that evening when reviewing the photos. The object is located to the right of the falling booster rockets. In my opinion it looks like a bat, but let me know what you think of it. I added our photography name to the photo. The photo was taken of the booster rocket separation during the shuttle launch. DEERFIELD -- On March 11, 2011, parked my car and noticed a triangle in the sky. It was large and moved slow. Red orbs flew into it and made it larger. It then slowly vanished. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Patrick Air Force Base -- While walking my dog on March 11, 2011, at 7:20 PM, on a clear night I noticed numerous aircraft at various flight levels with blinking lights flying at constant speeds. Then heading southeast over the ocean was a constant light, like if a jumbo jet was coming head on, but I was actually viewing it from the side by now. As it got closer the light became more intense and I noticed it was a spherical perfect ball and it was rotating colors: blue, yellow/green, red in a consistent pattern at about 20,000 feet. Once it got farther out over the ocean, it was clear it was a ball of light moving in a constant direction with rotating colors. It dimmed and accelerated out of sight. Greenville -- On January 16, 2011, a neighbor got the attached picture on her digital camera about a mile from my house. She and I both thought it strange. I sent you pictures from Greenville, taken on my trail camera, and on November 29th, I got two lights in the sky from the same camera at 7:24 PM. Illinois Red UFO Shape Shift
Forest Park -- I watched a red UFO shape shift and mimic an airplane or helicopter for close to two hours starting at 6:55 PM, on March14, 2011, near Chicago. It flew in a W, N, E, S rounded off a square pattern in the sky and the lights would change color. This image looks like the UFO flew off the Mayan Calendar. The images are quite remarkable IMO. Louisiana Moon
I am a photographer, and on March 19, 2011, I was outside taking pictures with my grandparents of the moon during its lunar perigee. While aiming my shot of the moon I noticed what I thought was some debris on my lens, so I cleaned it. I was able to make out an object only through the camera lens. I realized that I was not seeing a spec on my lens but rather something in the sky. I tried to use my auto focus to capture the object, but it kept focusing on the moon. I turned off the auto focus and manually targeted the object in the lower center of moon. My camera is a Canon Rebel T2i with a Sigma 18-250 mm lens; the photograph was taken zoomed all the way in. I called my grandparents over to look in the viewfinder and none of us had ever seen an airplane like this before. We couldn't see the object with the naked eye. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Minnesota Numerous ufos.
Mankato -- I pulled to side of highway on March 13, 2011, and began filming numerous ufos that we saw traveling near our aircraft. They can be seen day or night. This phenomenon that appears as a star, I call a watcher. This object flew closer and closer, until becoming stationary. Numerous blinkers flew quite close to the watcher. This is one clip, displaying what to look for. At night they are watchers and blinkers. They are tricky, and are usually found above my house on a clear night. They are quite adept at "plane" deception, but are full of anomalies in the near infra read. They emit ufos in broad daylight. They are the same entities that once traveled as discs. LINCOLN TUNNEL -- Joe Kayati reports, "Just before entering the tunnel an image was taken of the skyline of New York City with a cell phone camera that upon review shows a UFO on March 20, 2011 on a bright clear Sunday afternoon.

On November 9, 2011,2011, pictures were taken four days before NYC flap that were later dismissed as balloons, these where flying East to South East Wind was from the East objects where flying into the wind keeping same altitude on magnification of darker blurs show up as large oval disc objects multiple shots were taken.
LONG VALLEY -- I took several pictures of the moon on March 19, 2011, using a flash for this particular capture. I have taken photos at night and have not had any artifacts appear in them. I would dismiss this as a reflection of some sort had it not been for an event that happened about 15 years ago in another state. A glowing, reddish orange orb flew out of the woods and came within 25 feet of where I was standing. This orb in the moon photo looks the same. Thanks to MUFON CMS
New York Orb
PORT CRANE -- I was letting my dog out on evening of March 3, 2011 and saw this bright round object in the sky. It was moving very slowly across the sky, in a funny manner. I yelled for my husband and went to get my camera.
We watched it move up and down. I did get one picture then, I went back in the house to get the settings right on my new camera and when I came back outside it was gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Ohio Lights
Last night March 18, 2011, I was taking pictures of super moon in my backyard. The pictures we got back were very strange indeed .You Tell Me? Is there something wrong with my camera or are we looking at something we don't understand. These things were not seen with naked eye only with the camera. Pennsylvania Boomerang Under 500 Feet
West Springfield -- O n March 8, 2011, I was letting out my dogs when I noticed up in the sky three lights. My cousin was walking with me as we were heading out to take care of our horses on our 8 acres located a mile away from Lake Erie. The lights were about 50 feet apart from each other. They flew vertical and moved to the north then disappeared. The shape it turned into was almost like a boomerang.
The lights appeared behind my neighbor's house, moving around in a confined area with its lights glowing a bluish, and green yellow. The color combination was strange. There is a correctional facility with a no fly zone under 500 feet, but this boomerang was much lower. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Tennessee Fireball
CHATTANOOGA -- I was driving home from work on March 18, 2011, when I saw a very shiny and metallic looking object the sky. It would change colors and seemed to be following me. As I was driving I kept staring at it, and almost had an accident so I decided to park my vehicle to get a better look. It then disappeared out of sight. The shape of the object was like that if a star and would not move anywhere just float in the air. CMS

My wife and I were on the front part of our property taking pictures of the moon. We did not see the object with our eyes. It wasn't until we came in and put the pictures on the computer when we saw the light moving across the sky silently. We ruled out plane/jet as we should have seen that with our naked eyes. It moves up from the tree line and goes up and to the right. CMS

Virginia Slow-moving Triangle
Culpeper -- At about 9 pm, on March 7, 2011, we saw multiple lights in the northeastern sky moving erratically and one approached and flew a few hundred feet over our house. As it approached, I saw a spotlight hit the ground not too far away, but it did not remain. As it flew over, there were three lights in a triangular pattern, with a red one towards the front and two blinking white ones toward the back. I could not make out the actual shape of the aircraft, but I could hear a very slight humming noise. Looking up casually, one might have thought they were regular airplanes, but they all had the same flashing lights pattern, and they were moving too irregularly, too slowly for an airplane. One of the lights would get very bright, and then the light would disappear and be replaced by the red and white flashing.
We watched for two hours and they never left. They would fly from one end of the sky to the other and then back again. It was almost like they were looking for something or surveying the area. Passa Tempo --Rich Heiden writes, "Here's a case you might be interested in.
(On March-19-2010, in the state of Minas Gerais a circle was found by a boy in a place called Sesmaria in Passa Tempo town. He saw a triangular spaceship with many lights slowly flying. It was big, and he didn't hear any noise. He was afraid and ran to his house and saw when the UFO flew away. Canada Chevron-Shaped Object
Ontario -- My name is Eileen and I had my first UFO sighting with my daughter and boyfriend two years ago. I watch the sky every night now and noticed in the past two years that they have been around almost every night seeing one or two way up in sky. The past five weeks we have many of them around our property very low in the sky. We have also seen many tiny little white lights in the bush around our farm under these objects when they are here. They show up as soon as it gets dark and they remain until dawn.
I was and still am pretty freaked out and scared wondering why there are here every night now. I have several videos as well. I was wondering if you are located in Ontario by any chance. I would love for you to come to my farm and see these objects .I have not called the police or anyone else as I do not want media and other groups swarming out here to watch. I would like to keep this as quiet as possible. You know what a circus something like this could turn into considering the objects are here and very low in the sky every night. Let me know what you think and if it might be possible for you to make it out here to see these objects on a clear night. The only time we don't see them is if it's raining or cloudy. Also, please keep this very quiet. We live where we do because we love our peace and quiet and value our privacy.

France Orbs
Monte Carlo -- On March 21, 2011, at 10.30 AM, I went outside the office for a smoke and spotted some bright white/silverish orbs. I saw one, but as my eyes adjusted I saw there were seven or eight following. All were moving in the one direction and weaving in and out amongst each other. They were moving about the same speed as a plane but I could hear no sound. They looked very similar to the ones in New York. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Israel Proof Jerusalem UFO video Is Real.
Jerusalem -- A new video of the UFO over Jerusalem surfaced tonight from a tourist that was filming while on a late night tour of Jerusalem on January 28, 2011. Mexico Strange Silent Object Hovering Over My Daughter's Bed
San Luis Potos -- Last night I woke up to a strange three foot long black rectangular object, that was one foot wide hovering over my daughter's bed as she slept on March 9, 2011 at 11:30 PM. It made no sound what so ever. My first reaction was to scream, but I couldn't even move because my body was paralyzed. When I screamed, it shot out of the room in a blur, directly toward the opening above the door. When I finally got my right arm to move toward my husband, I tried to wake him up by squeezing his arm and then pinching him. I could hear the sound of something like a small propeller. My question is how did it get out of the opening above the door? It was only about 3 inches wide and 2 and a half ft. long. I don't understand why husband wouldn't wake up through all of this, and why my body was paralyzed. This was something I really can't explain and I've never experienced anything like this.
It was a solid and structured kind of machine. When my husband finally woke up, I told him everything that happened and we moved my daughter to our bed. Peru Strange Light Videotaped
Cusco -- An alleged UFO was recorded by an amateur cameraman on March 18, 2011.
The object was seen very early in the morning from the southern reaches of the city, but unfortunately, its disappearance could not be recorded due to a lack of battery power. The alleged UFO appears static but when the zoom is applied, it has a rhomboidal shape. There are dozens of videos on YouTube that reveal alleged UFO apparitions over Machu Picchu itself. Philippines Six White Discs
PhillippinesNov10.jpgDavao -- It was sunny around 4:16 PM, when my family and I saw five to six white disc objects going north. We were on vacation on November 3, 2010, and I called out to anybody from the house to get the camera quick. I thought those cannot be planes. They are white discs, without wings, rotors, or tails. Then my wife's niece came out of the house with the a digital ixus 200is camera, but was shaking when she took the picture. She asked,"Are those alien UFOs? I said maybe. They disappeared when they passed behind a cloud. I was expecting them to come out, but they didn't come out. At least we got this picture.

Tibet UFO Photographed
Ganzi, Tibet -- Michael Cohen writes, " The photograph comes from the Ganzi Tibet Autonomous Region, within western Sichuan in China. A group of friends were on their way to a nearby airport when the car they were travelling in on February 20, 2011, started having engine problems. They got out to move the car off the road when one of the group spotted a UFO hovering overhead and managed to take a photo of it. The witnesses have submitted the photo to researchers for analysis. It has long been rumored that a secret UFO base exists in the area. France's President Sarkozy Pushes Allies to Attack Libya
France's President Nicholas Sarkozy called world leaders to an emergency war council at the Elysee presidential palace in Paris to push allies to agree on military action against Muammar Gaddafi on March 20, 2011. President Sarkozy is reported to have led the intervention claiming France would attack alone if necessary. His 20 guests had barely reached an agreement when Sarkozy announced that French planes were already in the air preparing to strike. The French aircraft were the first to attack Libya in the Operation called Odyssey Dawn.
France, US and Britain have pounded Libya with Tomahawk missiles and air strikes, sparking fury from Muammar Gaddafi who declared the Mediterranean to be a "battlefield". The coalition that includes 28 countries backed by the United Nations is carrying out a no fly zone by destroying key military capabilities of Libya. There is now a clear multiple nation effort to support the rebel movement in a civil war to unseat Moammar Gadhafi who has ruled Libya for 40 years and killed thousands of people. French and British commandos were moved into Benghazi the key stronghold of the Libyan rebels, to control the allied airstrikes that realistically saved Benghazi.
Libya's air defense infrastructure is "quite substantial," said US Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. "They have a lot of Russian equipment, and there is a certain quality in numbers," Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has an army of 76,000 soldiers and 40,000 paramilitary troops. He also has 374 fighter aircraft (mostly MIG 25 and 23s), 650 tanks, 2,300 artillery pieces and more than 100 helicopters.
The Libyans have about 31 or so major surface-to-air missile sites and a radar complex focused on protecting the coastline. They also have "a large number" of man-portable surface-to-air missiles. Although some of this equipment has fallen into the hands of forces opposing Muammar Gadafi's rule.
In Cairo, the Arab League on Monday reaffirmed its support for Operation Odyssey Dawn after the previous day saying the air strikes led by the United States, France and Britain went beyond the scope of a UN resolution to implement a no-fly zone.
The US Air Force has identified units that participated in the attacks against Libyan military targets in the opening salvos of Operation Odyssey Dawn this past weekend. In addition to B-2 stealth bombers from the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman AFB, Mo., the Air Force sent F-15Es from the 492nd Fighter Squadron and 494th FS at RAF Lakenheath, Britain, as well as F-16CJs from the 480th FS at Spangdahlem AB, Germany. The B-2s struck combat aircraft shelters at Ghardabiya Airfield in Libya, and, based on post-strike photos that the Pentagon displayed, precisely hit them. The F-15Es and F-16CJs attacked ground forces loyal to Libyan ruler Muammar Gadhafi that were advancing on opposition forces in Benghazi and threatening civilians.
KC-135s of the 100th Air Refueling Wing at RAF Mildenhall, Britain, refueled the strike aircraft en route to an unnamed forward air base.
A U.S. F-15 fighter jet was shot down in southeast of Benghazi.
Moammar Gadhafi has a history of ordering strikes against civilians and could resort to using weapons of mass destruction in acts of terrorism against Western targets or his own people. He has extensive stockpiles of mustard gas and high explosives at his disposal that could be employed in attacks against targets in Europe or against rebels in Libya.
Unconfirmed reports affiliated with the Libyan opposition reported Monday that the son of Muammar Gaddafi, Khamis Gaddafi, was killed in a suicide attack on the Bab al-Azizia barracks in Tripoli. According to the reports, which were denied by the Libyan government, on Saturday a Libyan Air Force pilot deliberately crashed his jet into the Gaddafi family compound. Khamis was rushed to the intensive care unit of a Tripoli hospital, where he reportedly died from his wounds a few hours later, the reports said.

Sukurajima Volcano -- Michael Cohen writes, "The destruction and loss of life that has occurred in Japan over the last few days has shocked people across the globe, many being forced to re-evaluate their very belief systems. MidWest Nuclear Power Plants Vulnerable to Earthquakes
The red dots indicate earthquakes since 1974, in the Midwest and on the right are Mid West Nuclear Power Plants. These power plants may be particularly vulnerable to a severe earthquake. Generally, engineers will decide what is the most likely severity of earthquakes and plan for that severity. However, more severe earthquakes are more likely now than previously planned due to the recent severe shifting of the Earth's plates. The backup cooling systems in Japan failed and here in the US there appears to be a similar vulnerability. Tests should be made at all sites assuming power has been shut off and an emergency earthquake is taking place. The safety of millions of people is at stake. Pass or fail information should be revealed to the public. Workers in Japan are trying to prevent a nuclear meltdown by cooling overheating reactors damaged by Friday's earthquake and tsunami. Missouri's Callaway Nuclear Plant is considered safe because it's a "pressurized water reactor", not a "boiling water reactor" like the one in Japan.
Ancient gods Advanced Scientific Knowledge

Theban means "dragon or serpent" in Arabic. In Western culture serpents generally have a negative connotation; usually suggesting deception or slyness. In other ancient cultures such as Egypt, the snake was highly venerated.
The Jewish Haggadah describes upright and walking reptilian beings. The Greek Septuagint uses the word "drakon instead of the typical more modern Biblical translation of the word "serpent. Possible Space Craft Images
Hundreds of city sized cubes not camera blemishes have been imaged in space. On one of the cubes I found what looks like a flying saucer, you can see an intake port on top of it. It also looks like some of the cubes have big windows, and lots of blue ionized lighting. Some cubes have pipes with elbows. It is my belief that most of the UFOs sighted come from these cubes. Peter Davenport Takes UFO Sightings Seriously
HARRINGTON -- The Seattle Weekly reports, "On a bitterly cold mid-January afternoon on the outskirts of Harrington, Washington a wheat-farming hamlet 50 miles west of Spokane, grain silos sprout on the edges of a snow-bleached horizon. It is home to bobcats, coyotes, and a massive underground nuclear bunker, where once, in its enormous cement-encased womb, a 3.75-megaton intercontinental ballistic missile was pointed straight at the Soviet Union.
This week's cover story is about Peter Davenport, the director of the National UFO Reporting Center , an independently operated 24-hour hotline for UFO sightings that he's run in Washington since 1994. Davenport worked as a Russian translator for the Army, a commercial fisherman, and at the helm of a Seattle-area biotech firm, a company which provided him with a small fortune.

A few weeks ago, photographer Jenn Ireland and contributing writer Ellis Conklin went to Harrington to visit Davenport. Conklin returned with this story , Ireland with a handful of great photos, some of which didn't make it into print.
The unholy shrine to the Cold War now belongs to Peter Davenport, a nationally prominent investigator of unidentified flying objects. Over the past decade and a half, Davenport has almost single-handedly put Washington State on the map as a hotbed of UFO research.
The UFO Reporting Center is known worldwide among UFO enthusiasts, as it is among law-enforcement agencies and 911 emergency dispatch centers. A one-man operation, Davenport, 63, who never married nor had children, works almost every day, "from wake-up to lights-out," and fully funds the hotline out of his own pocket—costs which can range from $500 to $5,000 a month, depending on how much he travels.
The small fortune he made selling his stock in BioSyn, a Seattle-area biotech company he helped create in 1983, has enabled Davenport to indulge his compulsive preoccupation with the specter of alien life. In 1994, Robert Gribble, a retired Seattle firefighter who'd run the nonprofit UFO Center for two decades, called Davenport and said it was time to pass the torch. Davenport, whose passion for UFOs germinated after witnessing an unfathomable jumble of lights as a young boy growing up in the northerly suburbs of St. Louis, agreed without hesitation.
Known for his deep interest in science and his encyclopedic memory in recounting dates, times, locations, and even the most arcane details of a sighting, Davenport is highly respected among peers. "He has an excellent reputation. He's top-flight and extremely intelligent," declares Clifford Clift, international director of the 5,000-member Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world's largest UFO organization, based in Greeley, Colorado.

Wasilla -- Nathan Jensen Wasilla called and reported, "A very large saucer craft moved across the sky past the moon that cloaked out and disappeared at 10 pm. I have had ufo reports come in from Wasilla many times, like Seward I've heard it's a hot bed, for ufo activity. I went there, on March 3rd, 2011, a very clear night and observed fast moving craft at high altitude that stopped in mid flight and hovered for about a minute. Golden Valley -- My wife and I were on Highway 68 coming home from work, when we had vehicle trouble and pulled over and called for tow service. While waiting we saw the amber light traveling silently across the sky until dimming to a dull grey and then disappearing.
I would judge this object as traveling below any aircraft flight paths.
If you watch very carefully you will notice their movement is not in a straight path but in a jittery, wobbly type of motion. I managed to take some pictures with my phone but image quality is not the great. Thanks to MUFON CMS
California Dome Shaped Object
Wildomar -- On March 17, 2011, my friend's mom, Debbie Harman, and I were walking, when I spotted a bright orange light floating in the sky. I pointed it out but she thought it was a helicopter. We got in her car and drove up Prelipp Road and it was hovering over an open grass field as we parked. I
got out to take a picture of a hovering dome shaped object with a really bright orange light on the bottom of the craft. Static was shooting from the bottom, and it was dropping what looked like little charcoal grey boxes into the field. Florida Shuttle Launch and Triangle
CAPE CANAVERAL -- This was caught on camera on February 24, 2011and was found later that evening when reviewing the photos. The object is located to the right of the falling booster rockets. In my opinion it looks like a bat, but let me know what you think of it. I added our photography name to the photo. The photo was taken of the booster rocket separation during the shuttle launch. Patrick Air Force Base -- While walking my dog on March 11, 2011, at 7:20 PM, on a clear night I noticed numerous aircraft at various flight levels with blinking lights flying at constant speeds. Then heading southeast over the ocean was a constant light, like if a jumbo jet was coming head on, but I was actually viewing it from the side by now. As it got closer the light became more intense and I noticed it was a spherical perfect ball and it was rotating colors: blue, yellow/green, red in a consistent pattern at about 20,000 feet. Once it got farther out over the ocean, it was clear it was a ball of light moving in a constant direction with rotating colors. It dimmed and accelerated out of sight. Illinois Red UFO Shape Shift
Forest Park -- I watched a red UFO shape shift and mimic an airplane or helicopter for close to two hours starting at 6:55 PM, on March14, 2011, near Chicago. It flew in a W, N, E, S rounded off a square pattern in the sky and the lights would change color. This image looks like the UFO flew off the Mayan Calendar. The images are quite remarkable IMO. Louisiana Moon
I am a photographer, and on March 19, 2011, I was outside taking pictures with my grandparents of the moon during its lunar perigee. While aiming my shot of the moon I noticed what I thought was some debris on my lens, so I cleaned it. I was able to make out an object only through the camera lens. I realized that I was not seeing a spec on my lens but rather something in the sky. I tried to use my auto focus to capture the object, but it kept focusing on the moon. I turned off the auto focus and manually targeted the object in the lower center of moon. My camera is a Canon Rebel T2i with a Sigma 18-250 mm lens; the photograph was taken zoomed all the way in. I called my grandparents over to look in the viewfinder and none of us had ever seen an airplane like this before. We couldn't see the object with the naked eye. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Minnesota Numerous ufos.
Mankato -- I pulled to side of highway on March 13, 2011, and began filming numerous ufos that we saw traveling near our aircraft. They can be seen day or night. This phenomenon that appears as a star, I call a watcher. This object flew closer and closer, until becoming stationary. Numerous blinkers flew quite close to the watcher. This is one clip, displaying what to look for. At night they are watchers and blinkers. They are tricky, and are usually found above my house on a clear night. They are quite adept at "plane" deception, but are full of anomalies in the near infra read. They emit ufos in broad daylight. They are the same entities that once traveled as discs. LONG VALLEY -- I took several pictures of the moon on March 19, 2011, using a flash for this particular capture. I have taken photos at night and have not had any artifacts appear in them. I would dismiss this as a reflection of some sort had it not been for an event that happened about 15 years ago in another state. PORT CRANE -- I was letting my dog out on evening of March 3, 2011 and saw this bright round object in the sky. It was moving very slowly across the sky, in a funny manner. I yelled for my husband and went to get my camera.

Last night March 18, 2011, I was taking pictures of super moon in my backyard. The pictures we got back were very strange indeed .You Tell Me? Pennsylvania Boomerang Under 500 Feet
West Springfield -- O n March 8, 2011, I was letting out my dogs when I noticed up in the sky three lights. My cousin was walking with me as we were heading out to take care of our horses on our 8 acres located a mile away from Lake Erie. The lights were about 50 feet apart from each other. They flew vertical and moved to the north then disappeared. The shape it turned into was almost like a boomerang.
The lights appeared behind my neighbor's house, moving around in a confined area with its lights glowing a bluish, and green yellow. The color combination was strange. There is a correctional facility with a no fly zone under 500 feet, but this boomerang was much lower. Thanks to MUFON CMS

CHATTANOOGA -- I was driving home from work on March 18, 2011, when I saw a very shiny and metallic looking object the sky. It would change colors and seemed to be following me. My wife and I were on the front part of our property taking pictures of the moon. We did not see the object with our eyes. It wasn't until we came in and put the pictures on the computer when we saw the light moving across the sky silently. We ruled out plane/jet as we should have seen that with our naked eyes. Virginia Slow-moving Triangle
Culpeper -- At about 9 pm, on March 7, 2011, we saw multiple lights in the northeastern sky moving erratically and one approached and flew a few hundred feet over our house. As it approached, I saw a spotlight hit the ground not too far away, but it did not remain. As it flew over, there were three lights in a triangular pattern, with a red one towards the front and two blinking white ones toward the back. I could not make out the actual shape of the aircraft, but I could hear a very slight humming noise. Looking up casually, one might have thought they were regular airplanes, but they all had the same flashing lights pattern, and they were moving too irregularly, too slowly for an airplane. One of the lights would get very bright, and then the light would disappear and be replaced by the red and white flashing.
We watched for two hours and they never left. They would fly from one end of the sky to the other and then back again. It was almost like they were looking for something or surveying the area. (On March-19-2010, in the state of Minas Gerais a circle was found by a boy in a place called Sesmaria in Passa Tempo town. He saw a triangular spaceship with many lights slowly flying. It was big, and he didn't hear any noise. He was afraid and ran to his house and saw when the UFO flew away. Canada Chevron-Shaped Object
Ontario -- My name is Eileen and I had my first UFO sighting with my daughter and boyfriend two years ago. I watch the sky every night now and noticed in the past two years that they have been around almost every night seeing one or two way up in sky. The past five weeks we have many of them around our property very low in the sky. We have also seen many tiny little white lights in the bush around our farm under these objects when they are here. They show up as soon as it gets dark and they remain until dawn.
I was and still am pretty freaked out and scared wondering why there are here every night now. I have several videos as well. I was wondering if you are located in Ontario by any chance. I would love for you to come to my farm and see these objects .I have not called the police or anyone else as I do not want media and other groups swarming out here to watch. I would like to keep this as quiet as possible. You know what a circus something like this could turn into considering the objects are here and very low in the sky every night. Let me know what you think and if it might be possible for you to make it out here to see these objects on a clear night. The only time we don't see them is if it's raining or cloudy. Monte Carlo -- On March 21, 2011, at 10.30 AM, I went outside the office for a smoke and spotted some bright white/silverish orbs. I saw one, but as my eyes adjusted I saw there were seven or eight following. All were moving in the one direction and weaving in and out amongst each other. Mexico Strange Silent Object Hovering Over My Daughter's Bed
San Luis Potos -- Last night I woke up to a strange three foot long black rectangular object, that was one foot wide hovering over my daughter's bed as she slept on March 9, 2011 at 11:30 PM. It made no sound what so ever. My first reaction was to scream, but I couldn't even move because my body was paralyzed. When I screamed, it shot out of the room in a blur, directly toward the opening above the door. When I finally got my right arm to move toward my husband, I tried to wake him up by squeezing his arm and then pinching him. I could hear the sound of something like a small propeller. My question is how did it get out of the opening above the door? It was only about 3 inches wide and 2 and a half ft. long. I don't understand why husband wouldn't wake up through all of this, and why my body was paralyzed. This was something I really can't explain and I've never experienced anything like this.
It was a solid and structured kind of machine. When my husband finally woke up, I told him everything that happened and we moved my daughter to our bed. Peru Strange Light Videotaped
Cusco -- An alleged UFO was recorded by an amateur cameraman on March 18, 2011.
The object was seen very early in the morning from the southern reaches of the city, but unfortunately, its disappearance could not be recorded due to a lack of battery power. The alleged UFO appears static but when the zoom is applied, it has a rhomboidal shape. There are dozens of videos on YouTube that reveal alleged UFO apparitions over Machu Picchu itself. Philippines Six White Discs
PhillippinesNov10.jpgDavao -- It was sunny around 4:16 PM, when my family and I saw five to six white disc objects going north. We were on vacation on November 3, 2010, and I called out to anybody from the house to get the camera quick. I thought those cannot be planes. They are white discs, without wings, rotors, or tails. Then my wife's niece came out of the house with the a digital ixus 200is camera, but was shaking when she took the picture. She asked,"Are those alien UFOs? I said maybe. They disappeared when they passed behind a cloud. I was expecting them to come out, but they didn't come out. At least we got this picture.

Tibet UFO Photographed
Ganzi, Tibet -- Michael Cohen writes, " The photograph comes from the Ganzi Tibet Autonomous Region, within western Sichuan in China. A group of friends were on their way to a nearby airport when the car they were travelling in on February 20, 2011, started having engine problems. They got out to move the car off the road when one of the group spotted a UFO hovering overhead and managed to take a photo of it. The witnesses have submitted the photo to researchers for analysis. It has long been rumored that a secret UFO base exists in the area. In the 10th century AD, Tibetan monks adorned pages of sacred Buddhist manuscripts with depictions of metallic flying saucers they had seen in the skies above the area. http://www.facebook.com/allnewsweb Source: El Correo Noticias

Here's a very important point I feel I should make. The only way anyone will believe anything, is if they experience it themselves. Until then, it will always be a no go.
